In Genshin Impact, the Story begins in a forest where there is no rain, which is a world quest and the first story chapter of the large-scale event “Summer! Dragons? Fairy Tale!”, during which you will be able to get into a new temporary area called Simulanka. You will also have to help the forest inhabitants along with Nilu, collect materials to create a magical elixir and give it to Grandfather Almond. In this guide, we will tell you how to start and complete this mission.

How to start the task
It opens on July 17, 2024, and once you complete version 4.8 you will no longer be able to complete it. Before you can take on the first task of the event storyline, you will have to meet a number of conditions, namely:
- Reach at least Adventure Rank 18. In a separate article, we gave some tips on how to increase this indicator.
- Complete the story mission “Song of Dragon Freedom”.
- Complete the story quest “Masquerade of the Guilty” (optional).
- Complete the intermediate volume quest “Inversion of Being” (optional).
The last two quests are optional, but they will allow you to better understand the story that will be told as part of the event. You can skip these quests by using the “Quick Start” option in the event menu. As a result, if you have met the required conditions, the corresponding quest should automatically appear in your journal.
