In Genshin Impact“Threadlike Whispers” is the introductory part of the quest “Melodic Singing” – the last chapter of the Chronicles of the Children of the Echo tribe and the quest of the legends of Shilonen. Very soon, a joyful event will take place in the Tlasoli family – the birthday of little Nechka. But before that, you need to visit Shilonen and ask what she has prepared for the beloved daughter of the former blacksmith of ancient names. The company needs to visit Tlasoli, give gifts and help with the delivery of products.

Walkthrough of the mission “Threadlike Whispers”
The “Thread-like Whispers” quest from the “Melodic Singing” chain will only be available after completing the previous chapters of the Tribal Chronicles and the full completion of the “Rainbow Doomed to Burn” story quest.
Meet Shilonen in the workshop
After accepting the quest, head to Shilonen's place of work, located in the southern half of the Echo Children tribe. The girl is resting at the table, opposite the entrance to the workshop.
The heroes observe a scene of communication between Shilonen and the guardian Awilix, during which the girl experiences small lapses in memory – these strange symptoms are attributed to the abnormal heat. It seems that many in the tribe are preparing for Nechka's birthday, especially since Tlasoli continues to make special “engravings with wishes” on firecrystals for her fellow tribesmen.
Left alone, Shilonen tells Nechka in more detail about her gift. The girl personally asked for the first edition of the fairy tale “Tequila of the Brave” – this is a rare manuscript, the ending of which was rewritten at one time, removing all the old copies from sale. Since Shilonen has a couple of copies, the girl leaves one of them with us, and with the second we can go to Tlasoli's house.
Go to Tlasoli's house
Next, head to Tlasoli's house, located to south of the Children of Echo Gorge. A woman stands at the entrance and is not against receiving long-awaited guests.
Before entering, Shilonen clarifies that she came with a gift, which Nechki wrote about in a letter. Towards the end of the conversation, Tlasoli suddenly feels sick, and the guests immediately decide to take her inside.
Taking shelter from the sun indoors, Tlasoli tells about the deterioration of her daughter's health. The worried mother has not slept for several nights, which inevitably affected her well-being. The heroes learn details of Nechka's past, the reasons for her illness and loss of memories, as well as about the close friendship between the Tlasoli family and the Shilonen. The hostess invites the guests to have dinner together, but before that asks to look outside and check the delivery of groceries.
Help the grocery delivery man
Leave the house and follow the path to the nearest lake with a bridge where the courier was supposed to leave the groceries – it is on the way to the Tepeacaque slope.
At the indicated place, a frightened Tlapal runs out to us – the same delivery man who was unexpectedly attacked by monsters. Defeat a couple of enraged saurians and a lava golem, and then question the victim. The man will complain about the strange rampages of the creatures, then remember the times when his children played with Nechka, but his memory is also missing some important details. Interestingly, Tlapal also carries a firecrystal with a special engraving from Tlasoli.
Return to Tlasoli
The company returns for dinner, and the conversation again turns to Nechka's grave condition. Shilonen, who managed to study the engraving on the “wish crystals” of those who suffered from memory lapses, concludes that these decorations serve as a repository of everything that their wearers knew about Nechka. A desperate mother wants to return her child's lost memories, taking them from friends and family.
Shilonen is not happy with Tlasoli's decision, but decides to personally understand her method and help restore the sick child's name. The conversation is interrupted by noise from Nechka's room, and this is where the quest ends. As a reward, we will receive several purple experience books and ore for upgrading weapons, mora and 450 adventure experience points. The next quest in the chain is “Weak Signals”.
