Travel Stories Anthology in Genshin Impact: How to Find Companions
In Genshin ImpactJourney Stories: Anthology is an event in Patch 5.4 that requires you to find companions on the map and visit them, listening to their life stories or spending time with them. By completing these short stories, you will receive various rewards, including Primogems, Hero Books, and Holy Oil. In this guide, we will tell you how to start and complete the event.
How to Start the Journey Stories: Anthology Event in Genshin
The event will start on February 12, 2025, along with the release of Patch 5.4, and will end on March 25 at 14:59 server time. Before you can participate in it, you will need to fulfill a number of conditions, namely:
- Reach Adventure Rank 28 or higher.
- Complete the Archon quest “Approaching a New Star”, which is the third chapter of Volume 1.
- Complete the first chapter of the intermediate volume “The Wind Blows, the Cranes Return” (optional).
- Complete the Archon quest “All-Seeing God, Mortal World”, which is the third chapter of Volume 2 (optional).
- Complete the Xian Yun Legend quest “A Thousand Lunar Miles” (optional).
- Complete the Kokomi Legends quest “Warriors' Dreams Are Like Spring Grass” (optional).
The last four quests are optional, but they will allow you to delve deeper into the companions' stories. If you decide not to complete them, simply use the quick start option by finding “Travel Stories: Anthology” on the events page and clicking the “Go to Quest” button.

Open the “Story Entries” section to see the characters you will be able to interact with during this event. We will add that you will also be able to view conversations with companions here.
In addition, the stories that are currently available will be marked on the map, which will make them much easier to find. Just follow the suggested directions to find your friends. By the way, there may well be other people you know nearby.
Important: You can only participate in a limited number of stories per day. If there are no companions on the map that you can meet, but there are still heroes in the records that you have not visited yet, then try to visit them on the next real day.
