Treasure Hunter is a minor character from the third chapter of Black Myth Wukong. Completing his quest is necessary in order to open a location with a hidden enemy, as well as to get a new ability.

How to Find the Treasure Hunter and Start the Quest
First Meeting with the Treasure Hunter
Once you reach the altar of Bitter Lake (North Shore), go right until you see a huge red gate.
Go inside and you will immediately hear a request for help. The Treasure Hunter we need will be fighting off three Yaoguai bats. Deal with the enemies and talk to the Hunter several times until you hear mentions of watermelons and how to find them in the icy desert.
Second Meeting with the Treasure Hunter
The next time you talk to the Hunter, you will be able to hear his voice again at the altar Tower of Karma, in the next location – Valley of Delights. Without leaving the altar, use it and activate the spell “Fire Ring”, if you have not done so earlier.

Use the Incense Trail and return to the Happy Forest teleporter, Valley of Delights. From the altar, immediately turn right and follow the snowy path down. Before reaching the lake, turn left and follow the road down to the very end.

Go to the cliff, deal with the smaller yaoguai and carefully go down the cliff as shown in the screenshots. After defeating the boss, a watermelon field and a boy from the legend told by the Treasure Hunter will appear at the battle site.
