In ZZZ (Zenless Zone Zero), relationships with A-rank agent Billy the Kid from the Sly Hares group develop within the framework of the trust system. Although Billy is given to everyone at the beginning of the game, it is quite interesting to interact with him in the chat and in locations, and for strengthening friendship they also give a decent reward: polychromes, a shooter boost in the Zero Cave, live wallpapers with a cyborg, as well as the achievement “Star Knight: Behind the Scenes” and the title “Respect from the Star Knights” – both in tribute to the hero's favorite series.

How to level up all trust levels with Billy in ZZZ
You'll get Billy in the introductory chapters of the story, but then there are a couple of conditions: To fully upgrade your trust level with the shooter and collect the rewards from the “Joint Walk”, complete the “Insert Story of Chapter 2: Mission Impossible” – by this point the Zero Caverna and Lumina Square will be unlocked.
With the release of version 1.4, players now have more ways to upgrade trust with knocked out agents:
- Using invitations in Knock-Knock contacts;
- Through random encounters;
- Using the “Joint Walk” function.
Next, we will examine in detail what events await during the increase in friendship with Billy, how to respond in dialogues to receive trust bonuses and collect all the rewards from the “Joint Walk” tab.
Invitations to Tuk-Tuk
In order to schedule a chat with any agent once per real day, you have 3 invitations (you can't invite the same character at a time). All contacts of heroes with whom you can develop friendship are in the messenger tab (quick access on the English key “Q”). To avoid searching for a long time for Billy's contact, mark him with an asterisk to the right of the “Invitation” inscription – such chats are always at the top of the list.
By inviting Billy via chat, you will be able to attend the following meetings (all of them are on Sixth Street):

In one such meeting, with the right choice of answers, you will fill up to half of the emoticon indicating the current level of friendship (progress is visible in the chat and in the “Partners' Profile” tab). And using all the methods, you can develop friendship to the maximum in 1-2 days.
As you progress in your relationship with Billy the Kid, you are guaranteed to participate in the story encounters described in the table below:

During such events, it is impossible to spoil relations with the agent (among the answers there are no those that increase or decrease trust progress).
Trust mission with Billy “Improvement – The importance of hairstyle” will be available after the yellow smiley is completely filled, and to complete it you need to:
- Play Zero cavern “Withering City” with Billy in the squad (any difficulty except “Skill check”);
- Reach the recreation area on the 2nd tier – an event will appear at the exit (or a special cage in TV mode).
When the agent has a full smiley for the current stage, wait for one of the quests listed above, and only then continue to develop friendship. Until the level is advanced to the next step, all points received will not count.
A joint walk with Billy: how to collect all the rewards
Please note that walks are available with all agents whose friendship level not lower than Sympathy. Special events in them can only be launched through the “Spend time” tab.
The “Joint walk” mode is not tied to chat invitations and can be launched an unlimited number of times. Go to the chat with Billy and click on the button of the same name to get to a separate menu. It shows live wallpapers, at the bottom there is an icon with rewards and the “Spend time” action – click and choose a meeting place (the recommended one is marked with a quest mark). During your walk in the place offered by the game, you will encounter the following activities:
- Wish Events (short plot dialogues without answer options);
- Entertainment Events (during your walk around the location, the agent will pay attention to them);
- Godfingers Games (joint gaming in the arcade on Sixth Street).
Let's start our walk mode analysis with wish events. Each such activity with Billy gives the same reward: 150 Internet points, 10 polychromes, 10 thousand denni, 2 physical chips of rank B.

All Entertainment Events
Entertainment Events are specific locations in the location. When approaching them, the agent will stop and say a short line, and before that, an exclamation mark will appear above his head. When you are close, Billy's comment will flash in the upper left corner of the screen: “looks like there's something interesting nearby...”
Billy may be attracted to certain locations on Sixth Street and Lumina Plaza:

If you can't activate all the events in one walk, come back to them another time. To get the reward, you need to find any 5 entertainment events, for which you will receive: 22.5 thousand denny, 6 rank B magazines and 3 rank B power sources.
Play “Godfingers” with Billy
Walking with a companion along Sixth Street, be sure to stop by the Godfingers slot machines. Playing any co-op mode 2 times will unlock a small reward of 10,000 denni.
All random encounters
Random encounters with Billy can happen at any time of the day, except at night. To find out where Kid is now, open the map and look at the Sixth Street tab – if there is a mini-portrait of the agent at the bottom, then you can meet him.

Many encounters with Billy occur after you enter and then exit a location marked with an agent portrait. Note that such markers are overlapped by a higher priority event (such as a yellow event), but the encounter linked to them is still available.
Even if you talked to Kid and got points, go to the time of day mode (English key “T”) and rewind to a new day – the meeting may appear again, and the number of such rewinds is quite high.
All rewards for maximum trust with Billy
In addition to the rewards for advancing the trust level and those given in the joint walk mode, maximum friendship with Billy opens access to live wallpapers and the achievement “Star Knight: Behind the Scenes” – for receiving it they give 5 polychromes and the title “Respect from the Star Knights“, which can be put on the profile.
