In Genshin Impact, “Tupajo's Assistance” is a pyro deity hiding in the Night Realm, classified as a local legend in Natlan. If you survive the “Firestorm Trial” associated with Wyob, you can unlock three named achievements from the “Duelist II” collection.» — one per battle, for a total of 35 Primogems. In this guide, we will tell you how to find and defeat the “Will of Dignity and Glory” by choosing the best team and learning all of Tupaio's moves.
Tupaio Assistance Achievements: How to Unlock All
There are several conditions, having fulfilled which, you will receive the following achievements for the battle with Tupaio:
- 1st Achievement (+5 Primogems): Defeat Tupaio's Assistance for the first time in battle;
- 2nd Achievement (+10 Primogems): Defeat Tupaio's Assistance without losing any allies in battle;
- 3rd Achievement (+20 Primogems): Defeat Tupaio's Assistance during its aerial attack.
Remember that you can only get one achievement per battle, all three are not awarded at the same time.
Where is the local legend “Tupajo's Assistance”?
To get to Tupajo's arena, travel to the Archon Statue in the vicinity of the Flower Feather clan and climb the nearest cliff. To do this, transform into a cornucopia through the scarlet mark before the climb and “enter” the phlogiston portal. Touch the dark obsidian totem, thereby moving to the Realm of Night to the fiery Wyobu.
As part of the “Fire Vortex Trial» You will have to use Phlogiston Flows more than once to dodge or prevent the Legend's enhanced attacks. Some of Tupayo's moves can only be stopped by a falling strike or a recoil from the aerial ring, which is inaccessible without flying skills or vortexes along the edges of the arena.
Legend's Combat Moves
Tupayo is good at close and long-range combat, and the deity often uses series of attacks. Once you get used to his move animations, you will be able to dodge almost any of the Legend's attacks. Let's look at all the abilities of the fiery Wyob:
- Melee
At close range, Tupayo uses two moves: a charged spin and an energy field attack, which deal physical damage on impact.
- Ranged Combat
The legend has two types of targeted bombing: the first is a series of six fast attacks from the air, and the second is three slower ones, but after them, lava spots remain on the arena, if the hero gets into them, he will receive pyro damage. Tupayo often uses bombings one after another, and after them, one of the attacks with phlogiston streams usually begins.
Another technique designed for long range is the fire beam. From the moment its animation begins, the enemy can turn towards its target.
- Combo
Tupaio's only combo, which is only used in a combo, looks like this: the deity detonates four fire fields around himself, and then shoots homing beams that change the direction of attack depending on the movement of the active character.
- Phlogiston Flow Techniques
The two attacks that temporarily cause wind flows to appear on the stage differ in the placement of the legend itself:
In the first version, Tupayo freezes on the ground, and lava geysers periodically explode around him. If the technique is not interrupted, a series of powerful fire pulses will begin throughout the arena.
In the second option, the legend rises above the ground, and wind rings appear around it – they must be used to knock the deity down before its enhanced attack. When falling, the enemy will receive approximately 10% damage from its maximum HP.
Teams for the “Fire Vortex Trial”
The battle against Tupayo is somewhat similar to the fight with Ironbeard, so the recommendations for the squads are identical.
Tupayo can be defeated with any convenient composition of characters, if you use the wind flows in time and regularly. But to speed up the combat test, it is better to take in a pack those who:
- Can quickly carry out falling strikes, or place structures on the field, due to which allies will do it;
- Has an advantage over the enemy's fire element (in this fight it is better to refrain from pyro damagers).
Below we will indicate several command options and gameplay tips:
- F2P commands
MAIN-DD | SUB-DD | SUPPORT | HILL/SHIELD |
---|---|---|---|
Sethos | Ororon | Xing Qiu | Barbara |
Ning Guang | Geo GG | Goro | Noel |
If you have trouble with phlogiston flows, and there are only epic heroes among the characters, or there are no event heroes attacking from the air, take Geo GG into your squad – by placing his barrel on the field, you can climb higher and stun the legend during ground concentration with a blow in the fall. Gather a pack of geo around the Traveler (Ning Guang/Goro/Noel), or put mntmnt him in a free slot with any heroes.
The second option is a squad with Ororon (Sethos/Xing Qiu/Barbara), in which the archer will be one of the initiators of the “Charged” reaction + the one who can attack Tupayo in the fall from the hover state.
- Legendary Teams
MAIN-DD | SUB-DD | SUPPORT | HILL/SHIELD |
---|---|---|---|
Mualani | Ye Lan | Yae Miko | Jin |
Nevillette | Furina | Kazuha | Xian Yun |
Xiao | Mona | Faruzan | Zhong Li |
Among the legendary heroes, there are good and fairly mobile hydro damage dealers (Mualani/Nevillette), around whom strong packs will be formed (see the table above). But we will highlight individual characters and their advantages for this fight:
- Xiao, Al-Haytham, Ke Qing, Tiori and Kinich are good as damage dealers – the skills of these heroes help to jump high and attack while falling, which will speed up the process of immobilizing the legend;
- Xian Yun, Venti and Kazuha as supports will also help to stun the enemy on the ground in time with elemental skills;
- The same applies to Albedo and Zhongli, who use E to place a structure on the field that is used as a springboard for attacks while falling;
- Separately, we can highlight the squads with Chaska: the heroine flies high enough and can even reach the rings in the air (useful when the phlogiston flows have already disappeared).
How to defeat “Tupaio's Assistance”
Before the fight, stock up on food buffs, and (optional) take the Red Feather Fan or the Air Propulsion Mechanism – these equipments improve the skills of flying a glider, which will make it a little easier to reach the legend in the air. We also offer some tips that will help you cope with Tupayo and collect all the named achievements from the enemy:
- Have time to interrupt the techniques with phlogiston flows
If you immobilize Tupayo, it will be easier to perform enhanced attacks on him. You can do this during any phase with phlogiston streams: as soon as they appear around the arena, run to any, take off and hover towards the enemy. If the legend is above, fly through any ring onto him, and if below, press attack while falling over Tupayo's concentration point. Don't hesitate, because the wind pillars only stay in the arena for about 10 seconds.
- Use the attack while falling
With the help of the streams, any hero will be able to immobilize the deity (as shown in the video above). But you don't have to fly up, just place the structure and jump from it, activate Kazuhi/Xian Yun's E-Shki or Xiao's ult nearby. When approaching the enemy, try not to blow up on the geysers that appear – this can take too much time.
- Try to leave lava spots along the edges of the field
When the enemy starts casting a move that causes lava spots to appear on the field, try to stay closer to the edge of the arena. The further they are from the center, the easier it will be to avoid unnecessary damage while moving. To get the second achievement, it is better not to let the enemy put these puddles in the middle of the field – with a falling attack, you can hit them and injure the active hero more, and it will be inconvenient for you to approach the immobilized Tupayo.
- For the third achievement, bring the legend to low HP
To collect the last achievement, you need to bring the enemy to low HP, and then wait for the phase with air rings. When Tupaio falls, he will take around 10% damage (at level 103, this is over 500,000 units) — use this value as a guide to reduce his health enough for the final blow.
How to Replay the Tupaio Assistance Fight
You can replay any local legend in the Night Realm an unlimited number of times
using a dark totem outside the arena. After winning, losing, or restarting the challenge, approach it and select the action you want to take.
