During it, you'll need to find Tingyun, who's easier to talk to, then eavesdrop on the conversation and find the source of the sound by fighting several enemies. How to Start the Quest
This quest starts automatically after completing the previous mission in the chain called “The Departed Will Return First”. After watching the cutscene with Skryullum and Himeko, you will return to Penakonia. Talk to Welt and try to explain to him what is happening here. You can choose any answers, as they will not affect the ending or rewards.
How to Find the Easy-to-Talk-To Tingyun
You will only be able to find Tingyun (the almost usual one) after talking to 7 of her duplicates in the marked area. This can be done in any order. First, you can talk to the Big Shot, who is standing next to the flowerbed (see screenshots below).
Then go a little further and before the stairs you will find Flower Lover, Gourmet, and Sly Fox, who will discuss the gift. You won't get anything useful from them.
Go down the stairs and you will find Tingyuan (sleepwalker) walking in the alley. Enter into a dialogue with her. Again, she won't be able to tell you anything intelligible.
Go further east, and on the left side near the door you will find a Warrior with a Fan – go to her and try to talk to her (this will be in vain).
Take a few more steps forward and look to the right – you will see Tingyun (five-year plan), standing next to the balloon. Talking to her won't work either.
Let's add that you can find the Rich Girl next to the ATM. She is an optional option.
When you talk to the copies mentioned above, Tingyuan will appear in the center of the alley with a question mark next to her name. Go up to her and start a conversation with the fox. Then watch the cutscene with Fugu's appearance. It is from her point of view that we will continue the quest.
Move On
Watch the new video, after which you unlock the trophy “Don't Call Her Big Sister”. Start running forward along the corridor of the Dark Lab. Then listen to the conversation between the repairman and the researcher. Go up and examine the report on the table.
Climb even higher to the next quest marker to find the source of the sound. Before doing this, we advise you to choose your team in advance, as you will have a fight ahead. We recommend taking physical and/or electrical damage dealers (fighters who can penetrate any vulnerabilities will also do).
The battle will consist of three stages, and at the end you will have to fight the Suppressor. Luckily, at the beginning of the battle, all enemies will have their stamina knocked down, so if you're lucky, you can take them all out before they come to their senses again. It's best, of course, to use a piercing squad.
After dealing with all the enemies, watch the new video. In it, you will find out what happened to Tingyun and how she was able to return back in Fugue form. Then you will return to Penakonia. Listen to the conversation between friends. This will end the quest.
As a reward, you will receive 500 adventure points, 60 star jades, 4 traveler's guides, 4 lost crystals and 80 thousand credits. Plus, you will have access to the next quest “Reality is an Echo of Dreams”.
