Who to give the Verdict

Verdict in Genshin Impact: how to get it and who to give it to

The sword is ideal for damage dealers who deal the bulk of damage with elemental skills. In addition, the damage dealer himself or someone from the squad must have a Geo element, and the other – Pyro, Electro, Hydro or Cryo, in order to create Crystallization and implement the weapon's passive. Let's take a closer look at which characters will play well with this sword.

  • Navia. The girl has a Geo element, and her entire gameplay is based on Crystallization and the use of E-shki – in general, the signature weapon really suits her perfectly. In addition, it makes Navia’s build a little easier: the heroine herself receives a bonus to crit when elevated. damage, and the sword helps replenish the balance and adds a chance of crit.
  • Diluc. Diluc also actively uses the elemental skill to deal damage and has a need for crit chance. However, here there is a need for support with Geo elements. Diluc's squad can be joined by Zhong Li for the shield and Albedo for distributing MC. If you don’t have these heroes, it will be more difficult to make a good pack that satisfies the passive conditions. In any case, if you don’t have a weapon with better performance, you can always use the claymore as a crit plug. chance.
  • Freminet. The sword is suitable for a boy in his Cryo build, and will also boost his attack indicator well. However, the same problem arises as Diluc’s: the diver doesn’t really need Geo supports, except for Zhong Li, which makes it difficult to assemble an effective squad.

The rest of the two-handed damage dealers do not need to strengthen the E-shki so much, since they deal damage with their ults or regular attacks (Itto, Noelle) or generally play from physical damage (Eola and Razor). The sword will not be suitable for Anemo and Dendro heroes (Kaveh, Sayu) due to the even greater difficulty of assembling a squad. One way or another, if you got a sword by accident, or you don’t have any better alternatives, you can give it to a hero who needs a critical hit chance.

How to play with Verdict

As we mentioned above, the sword imposes some restrictions on you in terms of assembling a squad: you need at least one Geo hero and one Cryo, Pyro, Electro or Hydro. It is advisable that they regularly enter the field and cause Crystallization; to do this, it is Geo who must act on another element to create the shard. If the Geo hero is not the main DPS, the rotation will be more difficult. In such cases, we advise you to choose Zhong Li or Albedo: their Sun Flower and Stone Stele do not disappear immediately, and therefore can cause a reaction on their own, without additional entry of their creators onto the field. Itto's bull and other Geo constructs act in a similar way, but other Geo heroes are unlikely to be useful in a squad with a Verdict carrier.

The simplest and most convenient rotation is obtained when playing as Navia – it is described in more detail in our guide on the heroine’s abilities. So, first you need to use the support skills, thereby imposing elemental statuses on them. Then activate your ult or short press Navia's E to trigger Crystallization. Collect all the shards with a long press of the skill and then release by firing bullets at the mobs. After this, repeat the rotation, continuing to cause reactions and collect crystals.

In the case of Diluc, Freminé, or any hero of another element, the rotation will be more difficult. You will have to set up a Geo Construct and then activate the skills of other supports in its area of effect to trigger a reaction. Then, switching to the main damage dealer, collect a fragment and deal damage with an E-Shock, then repeat the rotation.

Diluc and Freminet are distinguished by their ability to use an elemental skill several times without waiting for a cooldown. It is important to note that each such blow must be strengthened separately, that is, before each E-shka you will have to collect new crystals.
