In Honkai: Star Rail, Watchdog Bark, Sweet Talk is a mission in the continuation of Exploration and part of the quest chain “Duel Under the Azure Sky I”. How to start the quest
It starts automatically immediately after completing the previous quest in the chain called “Arrival of nobles, false intentions”. If this does not happen, try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and log back in. Then open the quest log and start tracking the desired mission.

Move to the Secret Wharf anchor in the Crafts Commission, then turn around and approach the group of arguing people. You will find an old acquaintance here – Scott, who refuses to show the cargo to the customs officers. You will need to persuade him by conducting Negotiations.

To win an argument, your level of enthusiasm must be higher than that of your opponent. You can also try to lower this parameter for your interlocutor to 0 – then you will automatically win. To do this, you need to choose the correct answers in a limited number of moves. Note that you can also use strategies to apply different negotiation techniques and increase your enthusiasm.
All the correct options are listed below:
- Suggest a solution that does not violate the law.
- The Flight Commission will pay.
- Try to resolve everything according to Xianzhou Law.
If you follow our instructions, you will be able to win the negotiations, and then Scott will agree to let you inspect the cargo. If you lose the bet, you will have to fight a group of KMM guards. Their vulnerabilities are demonstrated in the screenshot below. In any case, Linsha, the new head of the Alchemy Commission, will join the conversation later.
She will be able to convince Scott to agree to an inspection. Then a new cutscene will begin, during which the monster from the container will attack the inspectors.
How to Defeat the Howling Coffin
This is a new elite enemy that is weak to Electric, Wind, and Imaginary damage. It can also enter the Moon Beast state after gaining a certain amount of Bloodlust levels (accumulated through attacks). In this state, its speed increases and it can use enhanced attacks.
One such attack is Lupotoxin Synthesis, which imposes Haunting Horror on targets, applying the Horror debuff that prevents your characters from walking. We advise you to break through the enemy's vulnerability as quickly as possible so that he comes out of the Lunar Beast state. In general, this enemy is not very dangerous when fighting alone.
Next, talk to Linsha. Once the conversation is over, the mission will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 500 Exploration EXP, 60 Star Jades, 60 thousand credits, 6 Lost Crystals, and 6 Traveler's Guides. You will also have access to the next quest in the chain, “Blade Singing Ends the War.”
