How to start the mission
Important: To start this quest, you must have Nefer or Berry in your team (will be released in patch 6.2). Without them, it will not be possible to open the necessary functionality for collecting intelligence.
You can take on completing this task only using the information exchange function, collecting intelligence in Nashgorod and completing the previous quests of the hidden chain, namely:
- Wreckage of a pirate ship with ghosts
- Unrest Caused by Theft
- Missing Order Target
- Strange Hermit
As soon as you complete all these tasks, the final quest to capture the former pirate should automatically appear in your journal. Next, head to the Flagman bar, located in the city, and approach Nefer and Yagoda standing near the entrance to begin a dialogue with them. They will tell the Traveler that they have finally managed to find the most wanted criminal, and the whole gang will go to catch him.
How to defeat Hark the Ragged Maw
Return to the hermit's hut located in the eastern part of the Desert Corridor, and to the right of it you will find a lime Derwent. You will accuse him of murdering Juhani, a wandering merchant and real hermit, after which the former pirate will immediately attack you.
Next, the battle with the criminal will begin. He will have a fairly high level and an increased health bar, but in general he is not much different from a standard treasure thief, so you can quickly deal with them with any leveled up team, that is, it is not at all necessary to take your strongest heroes.
After dealing with the pirate, talk to Nefer and Yagoda. They will reflect on Hark's crooked path, noting that doing good is much more difficult than doing evil. The head of the Curatorium of Mysteries will add that the evidence ordered should be handed over to the Traveler. This will be the end of the mission. As a reward, you will receive 150 adventure points, 20 thousand mora and 3 hero books.
Note that if you go to Lesheka and ask about the reward, he will only say that there are no new orders now. So, unfortunately, you will not receive any treasure chests for destroying Khark.
