В Genshin ImpactTales of Time and Wind is part of the Witches' Lessons, through which the player gains access to Venti's unique Witchcraft buff. Walking through the quest “Lessons of the Witches: Wake of the Wind” (Stories of Time and Wind)
The quest that gives access to the Venti buff becomes available after completing “An Unexpected Assignment” in the events tab. During this mission, the player receives the Little Witch's Dictionary tool (extended information about the dictionary itself and the starting chain can be found ina separate guide).
Having obtained the magic reference book, open it through Luggage and select a portrait of Barbatos from the presented faction members – after accepting the quest, it will appear in the task log.
Talk to Venti and follow the wind
The dictionary does not contain any instructions on the task for Venti, so we go look for it ourselves – the archon is waiting at the stone clock on the southern slope of the Temple of a Thousand Winds. After making sure that the witches are not eavesdropping, the Bard finds an excuse to sing a melody together, but not before offering to ride the wind to a special place. Having completed the dialogue, we will immediately be lifted up by a stream – all that remains is to fly into the wind ringsto speed up the path to the nameless island.

Barbatos wants to maintain peace in his region, so he decides to take advantage of the power of the local winds and asks for your support. Confirm your readiness to help the Bard, and then perform a duet with him on a string instrument. Watch the emerging note contoursand press them at the right moment – on a PC the correct sequence looks like this: D/H/J/Q/Q/Q/W/J/H/G/G.
The energy surge will lure monsters to the island – defeat them with your pack and trial Venti, and then listen to the archer's stories to complete the quest.
Buff “Witch's Eve Ritual: In Praise of the Wind”
The “Praise of the Wind” boost works for Venti only if there is a resonance of the Secret Rite, which is activated if at least two Sabbat heroes are assembled in the team.
