Genshin Impact's Thousand Nights is a three-volume collection of stories written by a traveling explorer. To get acquainted with it, you need to find 30 mysterious torn pages in the Sumeru Desert. In this guide, we will show their location on the map, and tell you how to collect them.

Preparing to search for torn pages in the desert
Before you start finding mysterious pages, we advise you Complete a number of missions, namely:
- Golden Land of Dreams questline.
- Ancient Language, New Knowledge questline.
- Afratu's Dilemma world quest.
The point is that this will allow you to access various locations and underground ruins, as well as fully level the Power at the Red Slab sands. As a result, you will be able to interact with all the mechanisms in the tombs and temples.
How to craft books
As we noted above, this collection includes three volumes (IV, V and VI), each of which consists of 10 pages scattered throughout the Twilight desert.
After finding the required number of pages, you will need to craft the book itself. To do this, open your inventory and go to the “Task” section. There, find, for example, the item “A Torn Page from a Thousand Nights (IV)”, and then click on the inscription “Alchemy” to get a complete volume. Do the same for the other chapters.
The Torn Pages of A Thousand Nights (IV)
The map below shows the approximate location of all 10 mystery pages of Volume 4 of A Thousand Nights. Next, we will take a closer look at finding them.
Mystery Page 1
Located southwest of Caravan Ribat. Just follow the desert road from the settlement waypoint and don't stop until you see the desert camp on your right. The desired page is on the boxes.
Mysterious Page 2
Travel to the teleporter located east of Feast Dune and north of the Archon Dendro Statue. Then go through the gorge, using the four-leaf symbols, and in the place indicated below, find the camp of the treasure thieves. The boxes will contain the item you need.
Mystery Page 3
Travel to the teleport north of Abju Pit and northwest of Aaru Village. Then plan to the west and soon you will see a desert camp with a locked gem chest. A piece of paper lies to the right of the chest on the board.
Mysterious Page 4
Move to the teleport north of Abju Pit and northwest of Aaru village. Next, jump off the left cliff and deal with a group of hermits guarding an amazing chest. The page is on the box to the right of the chest.
Mystery Page 5
From the previous location, descend further southeast until you see there are several piles of sand on the ground. Near them there will be a box on which the item you need lies.
Mysterious Page 6
Move to the teleporter located south of Abju Pit, and then go forward a little. Soon you will see several Pyro monuments next to the remnant of the wall, near which the 6th page of the fourth volume lies on boxes.
Mysterious Page 7
Travel to the teleporter near the entrance to the secret desert camp. Enter it, and then turn a little to the right. You will see the drawers containing the page.
Mysterious Page 8
Travel to the Archon Dendro statue in Upper Setekh Lands, then head east and climb to the top of the cliff. You'll notice a desert camp guarding a locked rich chest with a sheet of paper you need on the chests to the left.
Mystery Page 9
Travel to the second teleport point south of Sobek Oasis and plan to the East. You will see the Fatui camp, where a Dendroculus hangs above one of the tents. The page is on one of the boxes in the camp.
Mysterious Page 10
Move to the southernmost teleport located in the Dahri Valley. Walk a couple of tens of meters to the north until you notice the Fatui camp guarding a locked rich chest. The page is on a crate to the right of the chest.
The torn pages of a Thousand Nights (V)
The map below shows the approximate location of all 10 mysterious pages of the fifth volumes of the collection “A Thousand Nights”. Next, we will take a closer look at finding them.
Mysterious Page 1
Travel to the eastern teleporter of King Deshret's tomb shown in the screenshots below and run into the triangular passage ahead. Once in the room with two primordial torches, turn into the left passage.
In the hallway with the beam, take the first passage on the left side and continue on to the trial room. At the fork, turn right and run forward to the very end of the corridor. There you will find a table with scrolls, on which lies the page you need.
Mysterious Page 2
It is located in the secret base of the hermits, which can be accessed after obtaining the password from the huge door (its location is shown in the screenshots below). We talked in detail about how to find the passphrase in the Hidden Mercenaries quest.
After entering the secret base, start descending. When you get to the fork, turn left. Continue down the tunnel, and at the second crossroads turn left again. You will find yourself in a treasure chest. Turn left and near the yurt on the crate you will find another page.
Mysterious Page 3
Travel to Hajj Nisut and head south using the four leaf symbols. The page lies on a box not far from the locked rich chest.
Mysterious Page 4
Travel to the teleport south of Abju's Pit and head north until you reach a desert camp located on high ground. The page is on a box near a rich chest.
Mysterious Page 5
Located near the entrance to the desert treasury. Go to the tents located near the oasis. The page lies on a broken cart not far from the first yurt.
Mysterious Page 6
Get to the place shown in the screenshots below. Here is the entrance to the ruins. Get inside and run down the stairs. Keep moving forward without turning anywhere, and then activate the elevator and go down. Then activate the lift again, but immediately get off it so that it goes up empty.
A second elevator will arrive from below. Sit on it and go down even lower. Exit the lift and turn left. Climb up the ladder and take advantage of the air current. After rising, find the page in one of the corners of the room.
Mysterious Page 7
Travel to the east teleporter of King Deshret's tomb and run forward. Enter through the triangular entrance into a room with two statues of jackals (anubis). Here, jump down the hole in the center of the room. You will be taken to a location with a primordial obelisk.
Approach the stone, and then turn right. Near the wall you will see a chest containing the page.
Mysterious Page 8
Move to the underground teleporter of the tomb of King Deshret, shown in the screenshots below, turn around and enter the passage leading to cave. Then enter the underground tunnel on the right side.
Climb up and turn left at the fork. Go down the stairs to the half-flooded room and turn left again. Go to the left side of the room and find the right piece of paper on the table with the scrolls.

Move to the underground teleport of the tomb of King Deshret, shown in the screenshots below, turn around and enter the passage leading to the cave. Then go into the underground tunnel ahead and go down the stairs. After entering the new room, go to the wall with frescoes in front – on the table you will find a page.
Mystery Page 10
After finding the previous page, go back a little and turn right. Go down the ladder and interact with the blue button on the wall. Install 5 sparkling parts to open the passage to the most secret room of the tomb. Inside you will find a pristine obelisk, to the right of which lies the piece of paper you need.
The torn pages of a Thousand Nights (VI)
The map below shows the approximate location of all 10 mysterious pages of the sixth volumes of the collection “A Thousand Nights”. Next, we will take a closer look at finding them.
Mysterious Page 1
Travel to the underground teleporter in Abju Pit, turn around and run down to the Primordial Torch . At its foot you will find the piece of paper you need.
Mysterious Page 2
Travel to the teleport west of the Hemenu Temple, turn right and climb up the steps. Once in a spacious hall with primordial torches, turn into the left passage and go down the stairs. After entering the new room, turn right and find the page on the table with the scrolls.
Mysterious Page 3
Move to the teleport west of the Hemenu Temple, turn left and go up the stairs. After entering a spacious room with primordial torches, use the four-leaf symbols on the right side to climb to the ledge. There, go a little to the right and find a piece of paper on a table with scrolls.
Mystery Page 4
Southwest of Subterfuge Dune. Get to the indicated point and go to the underground ruins. Run forward and use the elevator to go down. Then go past the primordial spark across the invisible bridge to the other side. Enter the room with the torch, to the right of which there will be a page on the shelf.
Mysterious Page 5
It can be found in the Abju Road near the foot of the statue in a spacious hall with three elevators and a puzzle with invisible torches. How to get there, we told in the guide for exploring these ruins.
Mysterious Page 6
Move to the teleport west of the Hemenu Temple, turn right and climb up the steps. Once in a spacious room, continue to run forward. In the hall with columns, turn into the right passage. Enter the room with the mural on the wall and immediately turn right – you will find the page on the table with the scrolls.
Mystery Page 7
Can be found northeast of Feast Dune. Get to the indicated point and inspect the boxes standing nearby.
Mysterious Page 8
It is located in the gorge in the place indicated in the screenshots below. Examine the box near the yurt.
Mysterious Page 9
Go to the point shown in the pictures below. There, find a broken cart standing on a wooden platform. This is where you will find the page.
Mysterious Page 10
Go to the location shown in the screenshots below, located southwest of dunes of Magma. There, enter the ruins and go down the stairs. Next, jump into the hole in the center of the room and go into the passage ahead. In the new room, immediately turn right and you will find the page on a scroll rack.
Please note that collecting all 30 Torn Pages of a Thousand Nights will not grant you any achievements or additional rewards, only learn new information about the region. Perhaps the achievement will be given after the discovery of the first three volumes of history, which can be added in subsequent patches.
