The sewer passage is a location on Yarilo-VI in Honkai: Star Rail, which opens after completing the story mission of the world. It consists of tangled streets with access to several squares, in which chests of varying degrees of value are hidden: from ordinary to luxurious. Chests contain rewards that will help you upgrade relics, characters, as well as increase the level of World Exploration to open important plot quests. In this guide, we will take a detailed look at the locations of all the chests and tell you what enemies and puzzles you will face.
All Chests in the Gutter Pass: Map
Below is a map showing all the chests and their value. Some of them (most) are in the open world, that is, to gain access to them you do not need to complete special tasks, but there are also those that require completing missions.
There are 14 chests in total. The normal chest reward includes the following items:
- Star Jade Pieces x5;
- Experience x5;
- Credits x500;
- x20 shields
< li>upgrade materials;
Valuable chest will give you:
- star jade pieces – about 20-30;< /li>
- upgrade materials;
- experience – about 20-30;
- shields – about 60-80.
< p>In addition to all of the above, you will receive a light cone from a luxury chest.
Chest 1 (valuable)
To pick up the first chest, move to the Goethe Mansion teleportation point. Turn right from it and move straight to the nook on the right – the place of the chest is indicated by the icon of crossed swords. There you will meet the Spawn of Ice – a monster that does not affect the receipt of rewards. You can run around it to fight opponents blocking access to a valuable chest. These will be two Level 20 Shadows of Incineration.
To defeat them, you need to take characters with wind, ice, imaginary damage, since it is to them that the enemy has a vulnerability. You shouldn't attack him with a hero with a fire element – Shadow of Incineration has increased resistance to him, so damage may not be dealt at all. Since the Sewer Pass is unlocked as part of the You Can Run But You Can't Hide quest, it's quite possible to defeat the bosses with a level 15-20 squad using March 7's abilities to freeze the enemy, Dan Heng's to break through the vulnerability and Pathfinder to deal damage. Of course, you can use the characters that you have, paying attention to their element.
After defeating you can easily pick up a valuable chest with it.
Chest 2 (regular)
We leave the nook and turn left, to the gate. We pass into them: there an ordinary chest will be waiting for us, not protected by anyone and not requiring a solution to the puzzle. The chest is shown on the map below, with the blue cursor showing the character.
Chest 3 (Normal)
The third chest can be reached in two ways. You can either teleport to Goethe's Mansion and turn left from it, moving in a straight line to the chest, or, starting from the second point, exit the gate, turn to the stairs, go down from it, and turn right. However, the first method will work if you have already interacted with the controller and are simply clearing the map.
The second way involves moving from second chest. Exit the gate and turn left twice: up the stairs and around the corner. The chest will be behind the controller hidden in the alley in front of the gate.
There is no need to fight the monsters, but there are enemies in front of the entrance to the niche with the chest. You can not engage in battle with them, but quietly go around, clinging to the left wall.
Chest 4 (normal)
The fourth chest is not far from the third one: you need to exit the gate to the left and move straight all the time. It stands near the teleport “Resting Square”: go up the stairs, which is located to the left of it – the chest will be on the last step.
Chest 5 (Valuable)< /h3>
The fifth chest hid very close to the fourth: run straight past the Rest Square to the closed gate. To make the controller work, solve the puzzle. In the screenshot below, the arrow shows the last detail, by clicking on which you will connect all the terminals.
When the gate opens, you can pick up the chest.
Chest 6 (Valuable) and 7 (Valuable)
These chests can be obtained by completing a world quest. This requires Mastery level 18. From the teleport “Recreation Square” turn left and see the gate, go through it.
There will be a mysterious girl waiting for you, who you need to talk to as part of the first part of the Vessel of Ordinary quest. You will unlock the Idiot Chest challenge: once you solve the puzzle, you will be given a valuable chest as one of the rewards for completing the mission.
Second chest can be opened after passing the second stage of the quest.
Chest 8 (common)
From the fifth point, you need to go along the only available road, moving to the south of the map. Along the way, you will meet several enemies that you cannot run around – Shadow of Incineration and Level 16 Spawn of Ice. Defeating them will not give additional bonuses, but will clear the way to the treasure: a little further, in the corner, you will find a regular chest.
Chest 9 (Normal)< /h3>
From the location of the eighth chest, go west to the gate.
You need to activate them to open them controller. It is located to the right of the gate: fight Shadow of Incineration to get to it.
Go back to the gate and grab the chest on your left.
Chest 10 (Normal)
From the “Transport Hub” teleport, run straight to the square where, according to the plot, you must fight Armor. As soon as this storyline ends and you find yourself in Kamnegrad, a regular chest will become available in the square. He's hiding behind the bars in the first left corner.
Chest 11 (Valuable)
Teleport to the Transport Hub, turn right from it, and before reaching the place where you fought the Shadow of Incineration to access the controller, turn left.
You will see a broken automaton in need of repair. Solve the puzzle as shown in the screenshot below to set the automaton in motion.
Follow the restored mechanism through the streets while engaging in battle with several level 16 monsters. The automaton will take you to a valuable chest.
Chest 12 (Valuable)
To pick up this chest, you will need to complete one of the quest branches related to Hook – “An Unexpected Parchment”. To do this, you need to reach level 24 of Mastery and complete Treasures of Baby Hook and Under the Scorching Dawn Sun. Upon completion of the task, you will receive a valuable chest.
Chest 13 (Luxury)< /h3>
From the location of the twelfth chest, you can see the luxurious thirteenth chest, which protects the Fire from space level 20.
To defeat him, you need to take characters with ice, physical and quantum damage to the squad, since he is needed to break through the enemy's shield. It is worth avoiding the fire element, because the enemy has resistance to it. Thanks to its abilities, Space Fire can deal minor damage and inflict the Conflagrate status, as well as spontaneously combust and absorb physical damage. The easiest way to defeat him is to methodically destroy the shield, then inflict significant damage on a weakened target, since after breaking through he skips a turn several times, giving him the opportunity to attack. It's best to have a shield character and/or a healer in the squad, as the boss deals serious damage and increases his own attack.
After defeating him, you will receive a luxurious chest.
Chest 14 (normal)
From the luxurious chest, move to the left – the last chest will be at the very end of the dead end.
That's it chests that can be found in the Gutter Pass in Honkai: Star Rail. We hope that this guide will help you find them all and pick up the treasures hidden in them.
