In Honkai: Star Rail, secrets in the Hertha space station are small hidden quests that allow you to get various rewards, including credits and hertariums. As a rule, they are not shown in the mission log and on the map, so it is quite difficult to take them on. In this guide, we will tell you how to find and complete all these secret tasks.

All the secrets and hidden tasks at the Herta Space Station
Although we are talking about the starting area, however, on its territory you can find many secret quests and mysteries. In addition, access to some of them may not open immediately. If the places we have marked are missing the necessary characters or objects, then first try to advance through the story or complete the adventure and companion missions that unfold at the station.
Paper crane and terminal password
- < li>Area: Support Zone
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor: Power Substation
- Reward: 5000 Credits and Hertariums x20
In the southwestern part of the specified location, you can find a password-protected terminal. To unlock it, you will need to answer a few questions, and then find the code in one of the flying paper cranes located in the same room. We covered this secret in detail in a separate tutorial.
Triple Authentication Door
- Area: Base Zone
- Closest Dimensional Anchor: Observation Room
- Reward: Hertariums x50, 5000 Credits, Adventure Logs x2, and The Importance of Breakfast Light Cone (Erudition)
In the marked area, you can find a locked door, which requires you to find 3 authentication cards that are scattered throughout the space station. In a separate article, we described in detail how to find them.
Sheila's Fate
- Area: Main Control Zone
- Achievement: “Is she walking alone?”
After completing the quest “Tuned Paradox”, move to the indicated area to find Sheila near the entrance to Herta's office. Talk to her to unlock an achievement that will give you 5 Star Jades.
Bernard's journal
- Area: Main Control Zone
- Achievement: Diamond and Rust
After completing the “Letter to a Dim Star” quest, return to Bernard, who is standing on the bridge of the indicated location, and give him the journal that you have left (blue or red). When the dialogue ends, you will immediately unlock the trophy. You can then chat with him again to find out the fate of Rocky.
The door to new world
- Area: Support Zone
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor: Parts Storage
- Reward: Condensed Aether x1, Hertariums x20
This is an achievement that is unlocked by interacting with the mysterious toilet in the marked location. It will take you twice to different parts of the space station. We have covered this in more detail in a separate guide.
Little robots
- Area: various locations
- Nearest spatial anchor : miscellaneous teleports
- Reward: x20 hertariums and x2 adventure logs
6 small robots can be found on the space station and forced to turn off to save electricity. As a result, you will unlock the achievement “Change!” and get a reward. The location of the drones is indicated in our separate article.
Meeting Point
- < li>Region: Support Zone
- Nearest Spatial Anchor: Power Substation
- Reward: Hertariums x20 and Condensed Aether x1
Travel to the indicated teleporter, and then go north to the very end. You will find a round table with four chairs in this room. Check it out and make an appointment.
Then move to another location and return back (sometimes you need to wait for the server reset that happens every morning). You will see a group of researchers next to the table arguing about something. Approach them and watch a short cutscene to claim your reward.
Strange Plant
- Area: Base Zone
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor: Reception Center
- Reward: Hertariums x20, Seeds 1, and Commendation of High Morale x1
Go to the marked area, climb the stairs to the second level and talk to the talking plant. Then pour water on it and return to it the next real day to get the “Water as instructed” achievement and other rewards. We have covered this in more detail in a separate guide.
Coffee Mug
- Area: Storage Area
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor : External control center compartment
- Reward: none
Move to the marked teleporter and head north up the stairs. In the room, turn right and go to the table. On it you will find a mug with “coffee”. Take 5 sips – you will pass out, and then wake up in the medical center. Talk to the doctors to complete the secret.
Strange Voice
- Area: Storage Area
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor : Atrium (ground floor)
- Reward: Hertariums x20 and 5000 credits
On the second floor of the specified area, you can find sheets of paper and hear a strange voice in an unfamiliar language. You will need to find the “Unbearable Heaviness” curiosity in order to decipher the message. This will unlock the “Kings Don't Rule Forever” achievement. Broken Curiosity
- Area: Storage Area
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor : Shadow Gallery (ground floor)
- Reward: Hertariums x20, Commendation of High Morale x2, and 5000 Credits
Move to the specified teleport, and then go north to the second room with curiosities. Here, interact with the broken artifact floating right in the center of the room.
Next, you will need to hit him exactly three times, choosing the appropriate dialogue options. As a result, cracks in the curiosity will disappear. Write about this Asta and wait for a response from her. You will then receive a reward.
Mysterious Explorer
- Area: Storage Area
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor : Special Purpose Lab (2nd floor)
- Reward: Hertariums x20, Commendation of High Morale x2, and Condensed Aether x1
Move to the indicated area, and then approach the square in the middle and click on the “Inspect” button to return the light cone that you took from here earlier in the story.
You will then immediately be spoken to by an explorer who calls himself an old man. He will ask you about the light cone. Tell him the truth: “None of the above, to be honest” to unlock the “Honest Child” achievement.
Assessment Pistol
- Area: Storage Area
- Nearest Spatial Anchor: Shadow Gallery (ground floor)
- Reward: “Just a Number” achievement
Travel to the marked location and look for the specified curiosity in one of the showcases. Just interact with her to get a rating from her and unlock the achievement. Read more about the rating of creatures rated by this pistol in a separate article.
A note between Book Pages
- Area: Main Control Zone
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor: Central Passage
- Reward: Hertariums x20 and Condensed Aether x1
Go to the southeast part of the indicated location and look on the bookshelf to find a note on the table that belongs to someone from the revelation department. Then look for Meir in the same area and give her the leaflet. This way you will receive your reward. We told you more about this secret in a separate guide.
Hunter's letters behind comets
After completing the Out of Range adventure mission, move to the Apron anchor in the Support Zone and head north. Here, look for three paper cranes placed on tables (their location is shown in the screenshots below).
This will collect three letters and unlock the secret achievement called Goodbye Comet Hunter from the Our Memories section. You will get 5 Star Jades for it.
Treasure chest guy
- Area: Main Control Zone
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor: Central Passage
- Reward: Hertariums x20 and Adventure Logs x2
Travel to the indicated area, and then go a little to the right and you will find a guy standing near a regular chest. Try to open it, but the explorer will prevent you from doing so by leaving in an unknown direction.
Now move to the Base Zone and look for the guy with the chest right in front of the Reception Center anchor. Interact with the chest again, and then talk to the researcher. As a reward, you will receive the items marked above from him.
Gerta Dolls
- Area: Miscellaneous Locations
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor : various teleports
- Reward: Consumables achievement
You will need to find and talk to the six puppets of Herta located on the space station. In a separate guide, we have shown their exact location. Once you do this, you will be given a trophy.
Visit the monument
After completing the quest “A Mass for the Dead”, move to the anchor “Outer Control Center Bay” and head west. Move along the light bridges to the room at the very edge of the location. Inside, you'll find a monument that you can inspect – do this for the “When Breath Becomes Air” achievement, which rewards you with 5 Star Jades.
Memory Bubbles
- Area: Various Locations
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor: Various Teleports
- Reward: Sensory Socialization achievement and 20,000 credits
On the territory of the space station you can find 20 memory bubbles that contain various memories. You can start collecting them after talking with Gert. You need to find them all to receive a reward. In a separate guide, we showed the location of these objects.
Seventeen Years Card
This is a secret achievement that is awarded for reading the note left by Asta on the table located in a room with a triple authentication door. Above, we have already given a link to a guide for unlocking this room.
Robot « Culinary Genius
- Area: Main Control Zone
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor: Central Passage
- Reward: Hertariums x40, Hearty Food x2, and Space Fried Rice x1
In the marked area, look for a flying robot named Culinary Genius #123 and chat with it for a reward. After reaching Mastery level 24, talk to the robot again for another ration.
Choosing the best songs
- Area: Main Control Zone
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor: Central Passage
- Reward: Hertariums x20 and “Crises” composition
Go to the large monitor in the location indicated in the screenshots below and inspect it. Then listen to the song and vote for it 1, 10 and 100 times. As a result, you will get a record with the composition.
Passing a physical
- Area: Base zone
- Nearest spatial anchor : Reception Center
- Reward: Hertariums x20 and Healing Spray x1
Move to the indicated teleporter, and then go up to the second floor and go to the medical center located in the east of the location. Now go to one of the beds and click on the “Inspect” button to undergo diagnostics.
After completing the inspection, go to Joanna, who is standing to the right of the exit from the room, and talk to her. Ask her about your medical report. After the conversation is over, you will receive a reward.
Twist of Fate
- Area: Storage Area
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor : Shadow Gallery
- Reward: x20 Hertariums and x2 Adventure Logs
Teleport to the specified location, and then immediately turn around and go into a small room. Here you will find Herta's puppet and a yellow pad. Walk up to it and examine it to unlock the “Twist of Fate” achievement.
Gather the trash
- Area: Main Control Zone
- Nearest Dimensional Anchor: Central Passage
- Reward: Commendation of High Morale x1, Hertariums x20, and Adventure Logs x2
Move to the indicated area, and then go east, climb the stairs, reach the end of the area and interact with the trash can. Then examine the piece of paper lying on the floor and throw it in the trash.
Now move to the second trash can, located in the northwestern part of the location. The exact location is shown in the pictures below. Here, pick up another garbage and throw it into the container.
Go to the northeast part of the area and throw the paper into the trash can. Immediately after that, a serious researcher will appear who will congratulate you on passing the test. After talking to him, you will receive a reward.
