In Genshin Impact An Invitation from Afar! is a quest chain and the first story chapter of the large-scale event “Summer! Amusement park? Mirage!, within which you will be able to get into a new temporary area called Mirage Veluriyam. In this guide, we will tell you how to start and complete all the missions in the line.
How to start the quest chain “Invitation from afar!”
It will be available on July 5th, 2023, and after the completion of patch 3.8, you will no longer be able to play it. Before you can take on the first quest in the line, you will need to meet a number of conditions, namely:
- Achieve at least Adventure Rank 18. In a separate article, we have given some tips on how to increase this indicator.
- Complete the story mission “A Song of Dragon Freedom”.
- Complete the main quest “Akasha's Pulse and Kalpa's Flames” (optional).
- Complete Eola's personal quest titled “The Waves Never Return to the Sea” from the “Sea Foam” chain (optional).
- Complete Kokomi's personal quest titled “Warriors' Dreams Are Like Spring Grass” from the Sleeping Dragon chain (optional).
The last three quests are optional, but they will help you get deeper into the story that will be told during the event. You can skip these quests using the “Quickstart” option in the event menu.
A magical letter that fell from the sky
The first mission of the chain, during which you have to go to the headquarters of the Ordo Favonius and talk to A genie who needed your help. As a reward for completing this quest, you will receive 20 Source Stones, 2 Hero's Books, 4 Enchant Magic Ore, and 20,000 Mora.

After touching the bottle, you will enter a dungeon that needs to be explored. To do this, first follow Droplet, and then save her friend and start looking for the first part. You will learn that in order to repair the main node of the Mirage, the Velurians need to find several parts located in various places. To do this, head to the gorge and use the unique transport moving on rails. Along the way, you'll have to rescue the Hydro Eidolon from the preprint and ride the Whirlpool Rails.
