How to open the quest “An Unexpected Turn”
To access the quest walkthrough, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have a balance level of at least 12;
- Complete the exploration mission “The Long Wait for the Edge of the Blade”;
- Complete the “Rebirth Road” quest
After fulfilling all the conditions, you will receive a message from Asta. Then a small dialogue will take place between you, after which the mission will begin.
How to pass the quest “An unexpected turn”
Find Asta
The girl will be waiting for you in the Main Control zone. Her exact position will be indicated by a quest marker. Start a dialogue with her. After a conversation with a friend, you will find out that Arlan has disappeared, and you need to help Asta with his search.
Conversation with Professor Capote
In Pippi will help you in your search. Interact with the puppy, then follow him. He will lead you to Professor Capote and a group of other researchers.
To get useful information, in a conversation with him you need to choose the following answers:
- Nod in agreement.< /li>
- Praise Capote with all his might.
- Threaten Capote to be fired from the space station.
After using the options you want, you will be able to start a conversation with one of the members of the Kapota fan group. The girl will believe that you are a real fan of the professor and will give you key items.
Keep searching
Return to Asta and discuss the clues that have emerged. Then continue to follow Pippi, who will be waiting for you already in the Base Zone. He will take you to the south corridor.
There, you'll run into a couple of explorers and Dan Heng surrounded by monsters that you'll have to deal with. The two Weavers will have physical, electrical and quantum vulnerabilities, the Flame Spawn will have fire and air vulnerabilities, and the Ice Spawn will have physical and ice vulnerabilities.
After the battle, talk to Dan Heng. He will tell about his meeting with Arlan, and will tell you that he sent him to March 7, and then he will give you a new set of key items.
Ask March 7
Talk to Asta about the new evidence, and then follow Pippi, who is waiting for you in the Support Zone. He will lead you to March 7. She will reveal that she actually ran into Arlan. The girl took a photo of the guy leaving, which she will give you as another piece of evidence.
Find Arlan
Go to the guy's likely research site. If you haven't already collected the chest next to the crystal, there will be several monsters waiting for you.
After the inspection, move to the Power Substation, where you will finally find Arlan, preparing to fight the monsters. You will need to help him. Enemies will have physical, ice and quantum vulnerabilities.
Talk to Arlan
When you deal with the monsters, you can figure out why the guy disappeared so suddenly. During the conversation, you will need to show Arlan the following items obtained during the search:
- Professor Capote's wiki page;
- Arlan's pass;
- photo of his back.
After that, you can hear why the guy disappeared so suddenly, and what he was trying to achieve with his mysterious practices.< /p>
Rewards
At the end of the mission, you will be rewarded with the Annoyance of Young Arlan achievement, as well as 60 Star Jades, Pippi's avatar, Adventure Logs, Hertariums, and Credits.
