In Honkai: Star Rail, the Ancestral Drill is a Jarilo VI adventure mission in which you will once again have to help Molly by finding all the clues in the Corridor of Disappearing Echoes, unlocking the revolving bridge and turning it correctly. How to start the quest
First of all, you you will need to meet a couple of conditions, namely:
- Achieve at least level 24 of Mastery.
- Complete the mission of the adventure “Out of Control”.
Having dealt with the indicated requirements, move to any anchor of the Administrative District (teleportation to other locations may be suitable) and wait for the message from Serval to arrive. She will tell you about Molly and invite you to visit her workshop. Enter the shop and talk to the girls.
Go to the Corridor of Disappearing Echoes
Molly has found an ancient family heirloom, but cannot open it, so she will ask you for help. You decide to turn to Pele. You can find it in a bookstore. Exit the workshop and run to the right to a small shop. Get close to Fizz and watch the new cutscene.
Then talk to Pela in the workshop. When you're ready, you'll need to go to a kind of dungeon called Cleaning the Old Fort. Study the enemies you have to face and select a team for her. The bosses here are vulnerable to ice, electric, imaginary, physical and quantum damage.
A budget team might look like this: Pioneer (physical), Serval, Mart 7, and Natasha.
How to find clues in the Corridor of the Vanishing Echo
Chat with Pela and activate Findus. Here you can not open a general map, so you will have to navigate in space only on the mini-map. So go ahead, go past the support anchor, turn right and up the steps.
Now go left and reach the quest area. Next, you will need to use your robot by pressing the “R” key to find out which direction to move on. You can use it 7 times. After that, all devices will disappear, and you will have to place them all over again.
The item you need is near the closed lattice gate. The entire route is shown in the screenshots below. As soon as you place Nakhodyusha near them, a cutscene will start. As a result, you will get a new clue and an old portrait of a man.
How to find the next clue
Go back up the ladder and turn left after dealing with the brats beforehand. A Mock Weaver will be waiting for you near the gate (make sure you deal with him quickly, as he often goes first and deals area damage).
Next, interact with the controller and go through the opened passage. There will be two groups of enemies on the square – deal with them. You will have to fight with an imaginary weaver and shadows of incineration.
Move on to the next gate and deal with the Space Fire mini-boss, whose vulnerabilities are shown in the picture below. Now you can safely explore the area. You need to examine the boxes and bags that are highlighted with a spark. You will eventually find a new piece of evidence.
Open the gate with the controller and move forward until a cutscene starts. Pela will tell you that we need to split up to expand the search area.
Keep looking for clues
After talking with Pela, you will immediately be taken to the right area. You will again have to use the robot. First of all, go down the stairs and turn right. Move on.
Once near the controller, continue to move to the right, and then go up the stairs to the top. Once you reach the small stone platform, place Nakhodyusha here to find the next clue.
How to unlock the rotating bridge
Run back to Pele. Along the way, you will encounter new groups of enemies (imaginary weavers and shadows of incineration). Deal with them, then press the controller to open the grate.
Tap the next device to control the bridge. However, the mechanism will be in a non-working state, so you will have to calibrate it first. To do this, do the following:
- Clockwise.
- Counterclockwise.
- Clockwise.
When you select the correct options, you will hear a characteristic ringing sound. If you did everything right, then fix the mechanism.
How to turn the bridge
Next, you will need to meet with Pela. To do this, you will have to rotate the bridge in a certain way. Do the following:
- Rotate clockwise.
- Rotate clockwise.
As a result, the structure should stand as shown in the image above. Go to the middle of the bridge and then turn right and chat with Pela.
How to defeat the Burning Wanderer
Heal near the anchor on the right side, then go left, go up the stairs and enter into a fight with a boss that is vulnerable to ice, imaginary and electric damage. First of all, we advise you to deal with ordinary mobs in order to reduce incoming damage.
After dealing with the boss, take the contents of the luxurious chest and get Molly's key. You will also complete the challenge.
Go back to the Nezimier workshop and talk to Molly. Hand over all the items found to complete the quest. As a reward, you will receive 350 exploration experience, 200 shields, 25,000 credits, 5 condensed ethers, and 60 star jade.
