The Ancient Scrolls and Sword Art of Guhua in Genshin Impact is a questline quest about the Guhua School, which is a continuation of A Walk to Remember in Wangshan Hall. In this guide, we will walk you through how to complete the quest and solve the riddle with the bookshelves.

How to start
The quest should appear in your journal after completing the previous one. If this does not happen, then try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and re-login. Check your mission log again.
Go to the library
If you haven't left the hall, the library is very close to you. If you left the hall, then return to Wangshan and approach the cage behind which there is a locked chest.

Open the cage and take away the rich treasure.
Explore the Library
Move deeper into the dungeon. Swim across the small pond and go to the area with the stone slab.
You won't be able to activate the mechanisms yet, so move on. To the right of the stove there is a small room. To get into it, eliminate the spider and its web using Pyro attacks.
In the room you will find a regular chest and Guhua Records. Open the treasure and read the entries until you see blue text that contains a hint.

Unlock the Secret of the Library
Return to the area with the slab. To the north and west of it are 4 bookshelves that you can explore.
Use your elemental sense to solve the puzzle. You will see colored books and shelves, your task is to put the scrolls in their places. It's pretty simple:
- From the second shelf on the left, take the purple book using the power of the Adepts and move it to the first shelf.
- From the third shelf (the one on the north wall) take the orange book and move it to the second.
- Take the blue book from the last shelf and move it to the third.
- Turn south and take the golden book from a separate shelf.
- Move it to the fourth shelf to complete the puzzle and lower the water in the hall.
Reward
By activating the mechanism, you will complete the quest and receive:
- 20 primogems
- 150 experience points
- 25 thousand mora
You will also proceed to the next quest of this chains, “Hidden Valley, Secret Hero.”
