In Genshin Impact, Blossom Time is a daily quest for Sumeru, in which you have to watch Gurgen and Vardan's Dusk Rose bloom. After completing one of the variants of this task, you will be able to open the secret trophy “On the Root”. In this guide, we'll show you how to find and defeat the Runaway Jumper.
The Blossom Time quest
How to start the quest
Of course, you must have the dailies system open in the Dendro region – for this you need to complete the world quest “Adventure Takes Courage!”. Next, complete the “Flowers That Don't Grow” daily quest at least twice, recommending that you complete both versions of this mission.
< p>Now all you have to do is wait for the required task to drop out. To increase your chances of getting it, we recommend putting Sumeru in the desired region box in the Adventurer's Handbook. When the random is finally on your side, move to the northern teleport of the city of Sumeru and run to the garden plots. Chat with Vargan and Gurgen again there.
Next, you can expect one of two versions of this quest: in the first, gardeners will be able to grow the perfect twilight rose, and in the second … get an achievement). We will look at both options.
The perfect dusk rose option
During the conversation, you will stare at the flower, but nothing will happen, so the gardeners will advise you to come tomorrow. If you do not want to wait, then just use the time rewind in the Paimon menu, rewinding to tomorrow morning (06:00-08:00).
After that, chat with Gurgen and Vargan again. During the video, you will be shown a beautiful flower. The gardeners will thank you and then give you a reward: in addition to the standard items given out for dailies, you will receive 1 twilight rose.
Cryo Jumper variant
During the conversation, you will stare at the flower, but nothing will happen, so the gardeners will advise you to come tomorrow. If you do not want to wait, then just use the time rewind in the Paimon menu, rewinding to tomorrow morning (06:00-08:00).
After that, chat with Gurgen and Vargan again. Suddenly, instead of a flower, a cryo jumper will appear. The gardeners will get upset and this will end the quest, but you will still get the standard reward.
Note: It is not known exactly what causes this version of the quest to drop. Some note that they received it only if they completed “Flowers that do not grow” 3 times before, and on the third playthrough they watered the flower.
How to find the jumper and unlock the achievement “On the Root”
If you want to get an achievement, then you will need to catch up with the runaway monster. It is located nearby, on the other side of the river. Just run ahead, jump off the cliff and start glide north. Even from afar, you can see the ice surface created by the enemy.
Land and deal with Cryo Jumper. Pyro and Electro attacks work best against her. As soon as the monster is defeated, you will immediately receive the “On the Root” trophy from the “Wonders of the World” section, which gives 5 primogems.
