In Genshin Impact, luxurious Chenyu Valley chests are a very valuable find, as they allow you to get pestilence, source stones, Geo seals and useful materials. They can be found by exploring the tea region, completing quests, completing challenges, and solving puzzles. In this guide, we will show the location of all these chests and tell you how to open them.
Where to find luxury chests in Chenyu Valley
In the area added to the game in patch 4.4, currently time you can find 14 luxury chests. Only a few of them are in plain sight – most are hidden in secluded corners, which can only be accessed after performing specific actions.
The map above shows the approximate location of all luxury chests in Chenyu Valley. You should begin searching for them only after completing the “Jade Blessing” quest chain. Next, we'll take a closer look at how to obtain them.
Luxury Chest 1
- Area: Lingmeng Mountain
Move to the teleport in the southwestern part of the indicated location, and then go to the flying simulacrum in the east at the foot of the cliff and jump to be attracted to the water pearl at the top (“T” key). Launch yourself even higher in order to climb to the top of the mountain.
Here you will find three illuminated platforms on which you need to place three sacred simulacra lying nearby. They need to be placed in certain places. The picture below shows which statue needs to be placed where. As soon as you do this, a luxurious chest will appear next to you.
Luxury Chest 2
- Area: Jade Vent< /li>
From the previous chest, jump in a southwest direction and land right inside the huge stone arch with the jade. Click on the “Explore” sign next to the white light to make a water pearl appear and activate it.
You will turn into a carp and begin a challenge in which you need to collect 19 particles in One minute. In general, you do not need to perform any actions, since the fish itself will take you to the finish line.
After landing, you will remove the barrier and be able to enter the cave, where a luxurious chest will be waiting for you. You can also find spiritual carp here.
Luxury Chest 3
- Area: Yilong Port< /li>

Luxury Chest 4
- Area: Upper Chenyu Gorge
Travel to the teleporter west of Qiaoying Village, then head northwest until you reach an ancient ruin that needs restoration.
First, take the sacred simulacrum with the power of the Adepts, and then place it on the left green pad. Now take the second statue lying near the stairs and install it on the right green platform.
Next, pick up the dilapidated column to the left of the stairs and place it on the upper left platform. At the end, take the broken arch and place it on the upper right platform. If you can’t place it level, just move closer to the site.
As soon as you finish restoring the ruins, a group of hilichurls will attack you. At the end you will have to fight a lavachurl with a thunder helmet. Use Cryo, Pyro or Hydro damage dealers against him to quickly destroy his shield. Once you defeat the enemies, a luxurious chest will appear on the pedestal.
Luxury Chest 5
- Area: Terrace Chivan
You will need to find three sacred simulacra, recapturing them from your opponents, and then rewind time to 14:00 so that the chest you need appears on the stone platform. We talked about this in detail in a separate guide.
Luxury Chest 6
- Area: Chiwan Terrace
Travel again to the teleporter in the indicated location, and then climb the mountain to the east, and you will find a small puzzle with a jade tripod. Stand behind each of the incense burners and use the power of the Adepts to light them. As a result, a golden bridge will appear nearby.
Start climbing the ghostly path to the top and jump onto the platform with another incense burner – stand behind it and light it using the tripod on the mountain. A new bridge will appear, leading even higher. There will be another cauldron here that needs to be activated by pressing the “T” key.
Take advantage of the resulting air flow and fly to the far platform with the last incense burner. Stand behind it to light it with the second tripod. As a result, a luxurious chest will appear next to you.
Luxurious chest 7
- Area: Chizhang Wall
You will need to find five lost Guhua swords scattered throughout the Chenyu Valley. Near the fifth blade you will receive a luxurious chest. We talked about their search in more detail in a separate guide.
Luxury Chest 8
- Area: Xuanlian Mountain< /li>
Travel to the teleporter in the indicated area and then go down in a southwest direction near the miasma. Deal with the mitachurl leader, and then dispel the contamination of the area.
You will need to remove a total of 3 miasma, and at the end you will have to fight with an ice lavachurl, so we advise you to take Electro, Pyro and/or Hydro damage dealers to quickly destroy his shield.
Once you deal with the last miasma, a chest will appear nearby that you can safely open and take away the treasure.
Luxurious chest 9 and 10
- Area: Chizhang Wall
To get them you You will need to solve the incense jar puzzles by finding two fragrant trees, and the ancient jade pendant by finding two jade fragments. In separate guides, we examined both riddles in detail.
Luxury chest 11 and 12
- Area: valley Yaode
You can get them when completing the world quest “A Butterfly That Flies Silently Through the Valley.” The first of them is issued after collecting all the butterflies and receiving a branch of an ancient tree – it will appear near the water.
You can pick up the second one in the Adept's Chambers. Restore the medicine bottle using the branch you obtained earlier to remove the barrier from the room, then go there and open the chest.
Luxury Chest 13
- Area: Lingmen Mountain
You can get it when completing world quest “Hidden Valley, Secret Hero”. You will need to complete the arena challenge in Wangshan Hall by defeating several waves of enemies. After this, a chest will appear.
Luxury Chest 14
- Area: Xuanlian Mountain
You can get it during or after completing the quest “Ancient Sacrifice of the Sacred Comet”. You need to find three spiritual spheres and install them in a stone gazebo. After that, a chest will appear next to her.
