In Honkai: Star Rail, Exorcism Chronicles is one of the activities of the “Fox Ghost Story” event, in which you need to complete Five suppression towers at different difficulty levels to obtain valuable rewards, including star jades, credits and upgrade materials. In this guide, we will tell you how to open these tests and provide links to their walkthroughs.
How to start and complete “Chronicles of Exorcism”
Before you can begin completing this activity, you will need to meet a number of conditions, namely:
- Complete the story quest of the event called “Twins.”
- Complete one of the two Lofu urban legends: “The Moon Piercing Skiff” or “The Chess Ghost.”
Once you have met these requirements, the quest “Chronicles of Exorcism” should appear in your mission diary, the marker of which will point to the suppression tower located in the northeastern part of the Garden of Serenity. At the same time, the corresponding section with a demonstration of all towers is unlocked on the Ghostbusters table.
You will be able to take on challenges both from the specified section and by yourself getting to the necessary furnaces located in the garden – they are marked on the map icons in the form of totems.
Pavilion of Rest

Fox Forest
The third tower of suppression, access to which is unlocked after completing the story quest “Essence of the Sword”, as well as completing the urban legends “The Haunted House” and “The Haunted Bell”. Fox's Tomb
The fourth tower of suppression, access to which opens after completing the story quest “The Fox's Dream”. You can see the anomaly in this test in the picture below. Green Terrace
The last tower of suppression, access to which opens only after completing all difficulty levels (it is enough to get only 1 star) in the previous tests. Here you will again have to fight with Cirrus, who will send waves of not only ordinary mobs, but also elite opponents at you.

It should be noted that the more stars you can collect, the more rewards you will be able to receive. However, the most valuable reward in the form of star jades can be obtained for only 6 stars. So you don't have to be perfect at every difficulty level.
