In Genshin Impact Dual mission. Promotion and research! is the third mission of the quest chain of the event “Epic Massacre of Molds”. In it, you have to defeat Souka and Uncle Yeti to advance in the tournament. In this guide, we will show you how to do it.

Passage of the quest “Double task. Promotion and exploration!”
How to start
The quest starts automatically on the next real day after completing the previous mission “The First Battle of the Nilotpal Lotus Cup”. In the game, you will need to scroll through the time to tomorrow morning (08:00-10:00) to get the first task. Head to the arena in Port Ormos as usual and interact with the bulletin board.
How to defeat Souka< /h3>
You will learn that you have to fight Souka, whose trump card is Anemo Mold: Wind Dancer, who can attack from afar, releasing air projectiles and strengthening the elements of allies (Electro, Dendro and Pyro mushrooms).
Note: We recommend that you start the battle after completing the third stage of capturing and strengthening mushrooms, so that you have more choice of pets.
We recommend that you take the following command to the battle:
- Whirling Cryo Mold (main-DD)
- Whirl Pyro Mold (tank)
- Floating Hydro Mold (healer)
- Floating Anemo Mold (support)
Use Anemo Mold to collect enemy mushrooms in one place, and then apply reactions like Melt and Steam on them.
After the start of the fight, try to deal with the opponent's Electro and Pyro Mushrooms first by attacking them with Cryo and Hydro elements respectively. Once you've dealt with Pyro and Electro Molds, you'll prevent them from creating Burn and Escalate.
Head to the kiosk and find the merchant
After dealing with your opponent, leave the arena and chat with Yae Miko. Layla will also join the conversation. After the conversation is over, scroll the time to early the next morning (03:00-05:00) using the Paimon menu. Then move to the flower agar kiosk located in the same port town.
When you get to the right place, watch a short video and then take a picture of the store using the “Take Photo” option in the Paimon menu. Just stand in front of the shop and take a picture of it when you see the green “Camera set at the correct angle” sign (an example is shown in the screenshot below).
Watch another cut-scene. Now you need to find a universal merchant. It will be marked on the map – you will find it to the east of the city of Sumeru. Move to the east teleporter, and then jump down from the edge of the fence. Fly towards the hill on which the yak stands. Here you will meet Dori – chat with her.
How to beat Uncle Yeti
Return to Port Ormos and interact with the tournament board again. In 1/8 you have to fight Uncle Yeti. His trump card is Whirling Cryo Mold: Ice Blast, which can move quickly around the arena and deal powerful Cryo damage. He has Anemo, Hydro and Electro mushrooms as support.
We recommend that you take the following team into battle :
- Spreading Pyro Mold (main-DD)
- Whirling Pyro Mold (tank)
- Floating Hydro Mold (healer)
- Floating Anemo Mold (Support)
Use Anemo Mold to gather enemies in one place, then attack them with Pyro Mushrooms to deal maximum damage.
After starting the fight, try to deal with the enemy Hydro Mushroom first, as it can heal its own allies and apply the “wet” status to your molders, which can subsequently lead to their freezing. After that, deal with the Cryo opponent by hitting him with Pyro attacks.
After dealing with the opponent, exit the arena and chat with Layla. After talking with her, the task will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 30 Source Stones, 2 Hero XP, 4 Enchantment Magic Ore, and 20,000 Pestilence.
