Walkthrough of Chapter 4 “Dungeon Master” in True Stalker
When you escape from the bandits from Mongol's base, several people will chase you. Eventually you will find yourself in the dark dungeons and thus the fourth chapter will begin.
Turn around and kill the group of bandits chasing you.
After you deal with your pursuers and search them, go straight along the corridor forward, until the first turn to the right. Having turned into it, you will find yourself at a fork – now go left.
After walking a little forward, you will find yourself in a small room. Look around everything here carefully and you will find a lot of useful loot.
After that, go to the far right corner, there will be a passage. Enter it and go further – into the next dark corridor.
Go a little further along the tunnel, there will be several zombies there. Run past the creatures and you will come across a pile of corpses lying next to the pipes. Search them – you will find important notes and PDA of General Tkachenko. It will not be possible to return to this place again, so it is important to pick up all things at once.
Keep going forward. When you reach a small set of stairs, go up it and then turn right. Now you have to walk along a rather long corridor with light green seething liquid.
When you reach the fork, you will see bandits. They do not pose a danger, since literally a few seconds after your meeting the Master will kill them.
Walk forward a little more and you will see an unknown wounded stalker. He will ask you to bandage his wound. After this, the man will tell you how he got here, and also that he previously found the corpse of another stalker.
Having searched him, the unknown person found a note that said that the Master needed some thing in exchange for freedom. Now your task is to find the desired item.
Go into the passage located on the right and you will find yourself in a village that has fallen into a dungeon. There is a house among the trees, run into it and inside on the table you will find a note. Take it, then return to the unknown stalker.
How to defeat the Master
When you get there, the unknown stalker will knock you out. It turns out that he is the Master. After a short dialogue you will need to find the creature. You will have 200 seconds to do this, a countdown will begin in the upper left corner. If you don't make it in time, you'll have to start all over again.
Run into the passage located on the right and kill the three monsters inside. Carefully move forward along the tunnel – to the wooden boxes blocking the fork.
Use the bolt to avoid anomalies. Remember where they are located, so you can overcome these places faster if you go through it again.
Clear a passage for yourself, you can use a grenade for this. The easiest way to defeat the owner is to use a grenade again.
How to get to the surface
Now all that remains is to find a way out. Turn back and where the boxes were broken, turn right. Move straight until you see a round entrance to another tunnel. Be careful, as anomalies await you on the way to it.
Go into the tunnel, walk a few steps and on the right you will see the exit to the Landfill. Once you leave the dungeons, the quest will be completed.
