The Elegy of Doom in Genshin Impact is a 5★ event bow that can be used as a passive ability to increase the combat potential of the entire squad. Legendary ranged weapons are great for supporting roles and are great to play in Elemental Mastery packs.
In the guide, we will tell you in detail how to get and upgrade it, what advantages the Elegy of Doom has, who suits the bow and how to properly use its unique passive ability.
How to get the Elegy of Doom
The bow can be knocked out of the temporary banner of the prayer of the “Incarnation of the Deity” event. The weapon is considered Venti's signature, and therefore becomes available in parallel with Anemo Archon's reruns.
If you decide to twist the bow, use the Path of Incarnation mechanic, setting the course for the Elegy of Doom – this will increase the chance of getting the coveted leg.
Elegy of Doom Main Stats
- Weapon Rarity: 5 Stars
- Base ATK: 46-608.
- Add. Stat: Energy Regen 12%-55.1%.
- Passive Ability: Song of Parting grants the equipped hero a fixed amount of Elemental Mastery (60 to 120).
Additionally, the bow has activated buffs for all members of the squad in 20-40% attack power and 100-200 MS under the following conditions: using skills E or Q (on the field or from the pocket), one Talisman of Remembrance is given every 0.2 seconds. Four collected amulets disappear for 12 seconds, activating weapon buffs. From the start, the ability has a cooldown of 20 seconds, during which it is impossible to get new Talismans.
Elegy of Doom does not stack the same power-ups with weapons that are also part of the Millennium Symphony series.

You can also target the total amount of resources for full boost:
Important: Missing resources are available for purchase with stardust in the Paimon store.
How to awaken the Elegy of Doom
In order to awaken a ranged weapon, you need to knock out enough copies from the same weapon banner during the prayer period events “Incarnation of a deity”. For maximum elevation, you will need 5 duplicate bows.
Elegy of Doom suits for whom
When choosing the bearer of this bow, you should pay attention: Elegy of Doom is an excellent weapon for supports who can max quickly stack Talismans to activate his passive ability. The bow will look much less advantageous on damage dealers, because the character’s skills are needed to get the buff, and their cooldown may be longer than the duration of the boost.
Characters that are great for Elegy of Doom:
Anemo Archon's ultimate ability can almost immediately activate the weapon's buff, and the whirlwind mechanic, coupled with the MC poured into the squad, allows other team members, by reacting, to increase the overall DPS.
Great for activating the bow's passive due to Oz's mechanics: the raven gives a Talisman both during the installation on the field and with each skill tick, while the Fischl can be in the pocket. After receiving the buff and having the 4th and 6th constellations, the heroine will additionally increase the damage of not only other members of the squad, but also the companion remaining on the field.
Due to the high percentage of energy recovery required by the heroine, with a bow she can ult with almost no cooldown and quickly stack Talismans for a boost.
With the 6th constellation, the number of MC Dione equipped with this bow can increase to 300 units. With add. recovery from weapons, the heroine will play well as a cryo applicator.
Due to the quick cooldown of the ultimate, Gan Yu with this weapon looks good in the position of a sup dd as a pro-caster for units playing through the Melt reaction.
High base damage will be useful for the heroine, because with the competent assembly of artifacts and a good pumping of the elemental skill, she will receive an additional ATK bonus. And with the 4th consta, Sarah will also be able to activate a weapon ability with a single burst of elements.
The bow will also work with Collei, Faruzan, Eloi and Tartaglia, but each has its own nuances that are easier to make up for with cheaper and more convenient alternatives.
How to play with Elegy of Doom
For owners of the event bow, using it will not be something difficult: just give it to a hero with skills suitable for activating the passive. In addition to good energy regeneration, the legendary fills the unit with elemental mastery, so it is best to put it in packs with an emphasis on elemental reactions. The weapon is great for buffing teams with elemental mastery damage dealers (such as Wanderer, Heizo, or Yan Fei).
