In Genshin Impact, the Hadramavet Desert Elemental Monuments are one of the types of puzzles that typically award treasure chests. Some of them are quite difficult to find and solve, so we have prepared a guide that shows all the places with similar riddles and how to solve them.

Where to find riddles with elemental monuments in the Hadramavet Desert
Before you start searching and solving these puzzles, we advise you to complete the quest chain “Bilcis Memorial Service” and upgrade the Lilupar genie's magic lamp. This way you can open access to locations where puzzles can be located and remove any obstacles in your path.
There are a total of 13 riddles with elemental totems that can be found in the specified region. Their approximate location is shown on the map above. Next, we will describe in detail how to get to them, and what needs to be done to solve them.
Monument Puzzle 1
- Location: Tanit's Camp
Teleport to the statue of the seven Archons located near the Tanith tribe's settlement, and then move to the northwest. Fly over the canyon with the four leaf symbols and reach the rocks with the green orb in the center on the other side. This is where the puzzle is located.
First of all, go to the branch near the deactivated automaton and take the dendrogranum. Then destroy the green core rocks with charged attacks. There are three such cobblestones, and they are all shown in the screenshots below.
Behind these stones you will find Dendro monuments. Now switch to any Dendro character (a free Traveler will do) and activate these totems with an elemental attack. “Light” them, apparently, you can in any order. After that, take the contents of the rich chest.
Monument puzzle 2
- Location: Camp Tanit
It is located near the ruins to the northeast of the settlement of Tanith. Here you will find Anemo Totems and a locked gem chest. You will need to go through the maze of invisible walls to activate all the monuments. We have detailed how to do this in a separate guide.
Monument puzzle 3
- Location: Wadi al-Majuj

Move to the east teleport of the specified area, and then run to the northeast and climb the cliff. Here you will find an Anemo-blocked totem with three decayed stones around it.
In order to solve this riddle, you will need to destroy these cobblestones with the help of the nut located here. To do this, stand near the rocks, wait until a yellow circle appears below you, and then run away. As a result, you will unlock the monument – now hit it with Anemo element to create an air current.
Fly up with the stream, turn towards the withered tree below, fly there and land on an invisible platform. Run forward towards the tree until you hit the wall. Now turn left and move on until a rich chest appears – you can reach it along an invisible path.
If you fall, it's okay, as you can use the airflow again to get to the invisible maze.
Monument Puzzle 4
Move to the teleport shown on the map, and then jump down. There you will find a locked luxury chest, Pyro totems and dilapidated obelisks. You will need to put the correct runes on the stones to unlock the monuments, and then activate them in a certain sequence. A detailed solution to this puzzle is presented in our separate guide.
Monument puzzle 5
Climb the cliff in the area shown on the map. Here you will find three stones with a green sphere in the center. You will need to destroy them with Dendrogranum and Charged Attacks to find the Dendro Totems behind them. The location of the cobblestones is shown in the pictures below.
After destroying the stones, light all four Dendro monuments – you can use the Dendrogranum and charged blows for this. Apparently, you can activate them in any order. Once you do this, a rich chest and an air current will appear next to the branch – use it to collect the Dendroculus in the air.
Monument Puzzle 6
Teleport to the City of the Lost dungeon located in the Tunnels of Puffins, then turn around and run to the left. Start climbing down and jump into the hole. If you haven't opened this passage yet, just go to the pile of stones and examine it – a gap will immediately appear under your feet.
After planning down, you will find yourself in a spacious cave, where, in fact, the puzzle you need is located. To solve it, you will need to unlock the three Dendro Monuments by correctly placing the runes on the obelisks and defeating the Sacred Scorpion. Monument puzzle 7
Access to the desired location can be obtained when completing the world quest “Temple where the sands flow like tears.” Most likely, it is within the framework of it that you will try to solve this riddle. If you left the Lilupar Dungeon and want to return there, then first move to Safkh Shatranj and go to the entrance to the ruins, located north of the chess pieces area (see screenshots below).
Run straight through the second passage and drop down from the ledge. Keep moving forward, entering a spacious cave with a huge withered tree – this is where you first found the magic lamp from Lilupar. Here is also the puzzle you need.
To solve it, it will be necessary to activate three Dendro totems in any sequence, choosing the right runes on the obelisks. We've covered how to do this in a separate article.
Monument puzzle 8
You can find it near the ruin golem. Just move to the teleportation point next to Mount Damavand, and then move to the other side of the canyon. At the indicated location, you will find four elemental pillars blocked by barriers.
To unlock elemental totems, you will need to complete four combat challenges located nearby. The map above shows the location of the required challenges. Note that routes of four-sheeted symbols lead to all of them. For the appearance of the corresponding seals, come close to the pillar. Monument puzzle 9
It is located underground, which can be reached during or after completing the world quest “Abundance Under the Sand Dunes III”. To solve it, it is necessary to activate five Dendro monuments, and two of them will be blocked – in order to remove the barriers, it will be necessary to bring sparks to the primordial torches. Monument puzzle 10

Also located underground. Travel to the underground teleporter shown on the map below, and then run forward a bit and pull towards the four-leafed symbol in front. Below you will find a locked precious chest. To remove the barrier from it, you have to find and activate four Dendro totems. We have covered how to do this in a separate article.
Monument Puzzle 11
Move to the underground teleport shown on the map, opened as part of the Bilcis Memorial quest chain, and then go through the huge triangular passage ahead. Run through the corridor, hitting the room with the primordial torches. Turn right here.
After passing through another corridor, you will find yourself in a room with a hole in the floor. Pan the camera up and gravitate towards the four-leaf symbol on the left to get to the Dendro Totem. Activate it with any Dendro attack. Now look to the other side and you'll see a second monument – either pull to it with a quatrefoil or activate from a distance with an archer.
Next, turn the camera slightly to the left and use the 4-leaf symbol behind the giant branch with the flower to fly over to the other side, where you'll find a third elemental pillar. After activating it, look to the other side and you will see the fourth monument. As soon as you “light” it, a regular chest will appear below.
Monument puzzle 12
It is located in the northwestern part of the specified area. Here you will find a locked gem chest, Dendro totems and dilapidated stones. You will need to destroy the last ones with the Ooguns in order to reveal the location of all the monuments, as well as solve the obelisk mini-puzzle. Monument Puzzle 13
So, first of all, move to the underground teleport shown on the map below, then run forward and pass the Primordial Obelisk and Fatui Camp on the left side.
Jump off the ledge with the waterfall and you'll find yourself in a spacious cave with a pool of water. Ahead you should see a couple of blocked Dendro totems. In total, you will need to activate three monuments to receive a reward. We have explained how to do this in a separate article.
