Genshin Impact Freelancer is an achievement from the Achievement section “Top Gunner” that rewards you with 5 Source Stones. To complete the achievement, you need to hit the weak spot of the enemy with an aimed shot from a long distance.
In this guide, we talked about several ways to get the achievement, including for those travelers who do not have enemies loading at a long distance.
First method: Ancient geowishap, Tianqiu Valley
This method is suitable both for players with powerful devices and for those who do not have mobs to load at a long distance.
First, get to the Ancient Geovishap in the Tianqiu Valley. This can be done fairly quickly from the teleport point at the South Gate.
Once in place, pay attention to the block to the right of the broken bridge – it is from it that shot will be fired. Climb onto it.
Now you need to aim so that the arrow arrives at Geovishap's head. Considering the long distance will cause the arrow to land below the crosshair on the screen, aim for the top of the boss above his head. The exact position of the crosshair is shown in the screenshot below.
If you didn't unlock the achievement right away and the Ancient Geowishap reacted to you, teleport to another location and return when the boss calms down and returns to its original position on the field.
From the above distance, the enemy should load even on weak devices, but if it doesn't, you can drop down to the edge of the bridge and fire from it.
Second way: Lavachur, Qiongji River Estuary
Teleport to the statue of Geo Archon in the east of Li Yue. Glide from the mountain to the east to roughly under the Liangshan Labyrinth, but don't go too low.
Down below you will see Lavachurl sitting on the sand with a stone shell. Since the monster is constantly in one place, it will be convenient to shoot at it.
Take aim. You need to hit exactly in the head of the enemy, so aim a little higher so that the arrow flies to a weak spot. If you don't hit on the first try and the lavachurl notices you, just wait until it calms down and try again.
Third way: Guardian ruins, Jasper Forest
Use the teleportation point north of Cloud's Limit. Right next to the teleport you will see a rock; climb it and turn the camera to the northwest.
On the opposite mountain is the guardian of the ruins. It is in motion, but periodically stops for a few seconds, and it is at this time that a shot must be fired. Remember to aim above the enemy's head so that the arrow hits the target instead of flying down.
Fourth way: Shamachurl, Starfall Valley
Travel to the teleportation point west of the Valley of the Wind. You need to jump down to the platform below, stand on the highlighted rock, and turn the camera to the southeast.
At the very bottom, not far from the water, there is a shamachurl. He periodically stops, which makes it possible to aim above his head and fire a shot. You can also shoot a cryo hilichurlu gunner standing motionless next to the powder keg.
Fifth way: Hilichurl Shooter, Reed Islands
Teleport to the Reed Islands using the statue of Geo Archon. Turn south and go to the stone bridge; you need to climb the stone parapet on your right.
A hilichurl gunslinger stands motionless on the tower ahead. Aim above his head and fire; if the arrow hits the enemy, and the achievement was not counted, then try to shoot again, while aiming higher.
Sixth way: Hilichurl Shooter, Tianqiu Valley
Teleport to the valley and run west to the point indicated on the map. Keep to your right side and try not to attract the attention of the Fatui nearby.
There are several Hilichurl towers on the northeastern shore. We are interested in the hilichurl shooter on the nearest tower.
To get the desired achievement, aim just above the hilichurl's head and fire.
These are all the most effective ways to get the “Free Gunner” achievement in Genshin Impact. We hope that at least one of them will help you unlock this achievement.
