In True Stalker, “Generators” is the main task that the player will receive while completing the sixth chapter of the game. This guide will show you how to start the quest and complete it.

How to start the quest
While going through the sixth chapter of the game and completing the main mission called “Unusual Artifact”, you will need to visit a scientific-military base. Once you get there, the “Generators” task will immediately activate.
Now you have to somehow get into the control room where the artifact is located. And to do this, you first need to deal with the electricity that is preventing you from passing.
How to turn off the electricity in True Stalker
In order to complete the task, you need to find an electrical substation. We have marked its location in the image below.
Run to the left from the entrance to the base and run around the building where the opponents are located. You can silently run past, or you can kill the Monoliths.
The substation is located next to the fence. Climb up the stairs, go inside and lower the lever down – it is located right at the entrance.
This will complete the “Generators” task, and you can further progress through the story.
