In Honkai: Star Rail, Hanu's Adventures is a special puzzle game mode set on the planet of Dreams, in which we can transform into the character of a scowling cartoon gnome named Hanu. Using the new mechanics, you will be able to get into places that are inaccessible to ordinary characters and get many additional trophies. This guide will help you find all the challenges with the gnome Hanu, successfully deal with all stages of the tests, and also get rewards and hidden achievements.
How to find and complete all the “Adventures of Hanu” in Honkai: Star Rail
By the time of update 2.0, the game has 5 such tests, plus a separate event mode “Brother Khan’s Escape” – read more about completing all stages of this event in our separate guide.
< p>Across the world of Penaconia, you can stumble upon “The Adventures of Hanu” in the following locations:
- Golden Moment: 2 challenges;
- Dream Frontier: 1 challenge;
< li>Hotel Dreams (dream world): 2 challenges.
All activities in the form of Hanu are < b>multi-stage puzzle, during which you can: run as a dwarf, use teleport rockets, drop heavy objects on monsters, cast special vision to search for hidden rewards and return your normal appearance through a special machine (most often this is needed to destroy balls that prevent the cartoon from passing) .
Below we will look at all the places and activities with Hanu.
The Adventures of Hanu in the Golden Moment
In the first location from the world of dreams, which the Star Express delegation gets to, there are two challenges to Hanu.
Challenge with Hanu 1: northeast/1st floor.
The first adventure with the gnome is a mandatory point in the story mission “A Good Omen, My Friend” – you can study the sequence of its passage, as well as all the chests and other trophies in the test room in a separate guide.
Challenge with Hanu 2: southwest/2nd floor.
The second challenge with the cartoon is also explored through the quest, but this is a side quest – “Waltz at a Masquerade Ball”. However, the main objectives of the test are not mandatory for the mission, so we will consider them in more detail.
The main reward of this adventure is a luxurious chest that will spawn after solving the Mosaic of Dreams. Approach the puzzle picture and click on it: two pieces will fly from the frame in different directions, which need to be returned to their places.
Return the character to his normal appearance through the machine to the right of the entrance door to the room and burst the ball between the cabinets in the far half of the room.
When the passage obscured by the ball is clear → return to the image changing mechanism. Before you change it, pick up the first part on the table behind the steps to the left of the machine.
Follow the cartoon between the cabinets to the teleport rocket and climb onto the shelf → on the far edge we pick up the second puzzle, as well as the bird stuck under the board – origami.
All you have to do is go down to the frame with the puzzle and put all the pieces in their places (following the hint from the screen above, place the elements color by color, if necessary turning) – your reward will appear on the podium behind the solved puzzle.
Hanu's Adventures in the Dream Frontier
- Location: northeast/Dreamer Square teleport

On the rooftops of the Boundary of Dreams there are only one challenge with Hanu – its detailed solution, as well as the path to the puzzle picture, we described step by step in a separate guide (points 8-10).
Challenge with Hanu 1: hidden 3D area in the south/3 → 1st floor.
One of the adventures with the gloomy gnome is located in the south of the map, in a remote area with changing gravity. You can get here through a teleport picture: from the “Platinum Rooms” run south to the two-tiered hall, and from it also south, but along the corridor in the lower half of the room.
From the entrance, go down to the central hall with a column around which furniture floats, and turn into the nook to the left of the stairs – there is a machine for changing your appearance.

Challenge with Hanu 2: northwest/2nd floor, teleport “VIP Hall Corridor.”

All achievements and trophies for completing “The Adventures of Hanu”
It’s not surprising that for completing all the activities with the gloomy gnome on Penaconia can get several achievements:
- “Walker with Wolves” – given for clearing all challenges with a gnome at the time of version 2.0 (not counting the event “Escape of Brother Khan”);
- “On the second space” – fly on a teleport rocket more than four seconds. the easiest way is in the Grand Hotel from the world of dreams (the best choice would be a 3D map in the south);
- “The enemy must overestimate your shortcomings” is an achievement that is given for missing a falling object on a mob, and to obtain it the best 3D space in the south of the Grand Hotel from the world of dreams is suitable (check out the point to the 7th chestin the attached guide – in the considered area there is a rack with cups accessible for overturning and a monster TV walking under it).

It’s worth paying special attention to the “Full Vigilance” achievement – to unlock it, you need to catch the eye of at least a couple of monstersand at the last moment escape from them on a teleport-rocket (a visual demonstration was shown below).
We advise you to choose the puzzle picture challenge on the southern 3D map in the Grand Hotel from the dream world (as there is the most free space for maneuvers) – let the TV monsters in the center of the hall notice you and run towards the rocket that lifts the gnome up to the puzzle .
The specified number of achievements is valid at the time of update 2.0.
