In Hogwarts Legacy, the Headmaster's Office is an important location in the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as researching it allows you to unlock the “Room with a View” achievement, find the access key, and discover the last secret of Hogwarts. In this guide, we will tell you how to get to Black's office, and what exactly you need to do to pass the test.

How to get to the director's office
First way
Let's look at the most common and mundane method first. First of all, you will need to go through the late story quest “The Effect of Polyjuice Potion”, in which you can find out the password to enter Black's office. The next task should lead you straight to the right staircase. If you have already completed this mission and do not remember where the desired passage is, then first of all move to the Hall of Trophies (Hogwarts Stairs).
After teleporting to the indicated area, turn around and go into the passage to the right of the green flame. Exit from the other side of the room and turn right to the grate – pick its level 1 lock with Alohomora and go up the stairs to the top. Now run forward along the zigzag corridor without turning anywhere.
Climb the steps even higher, turn right and climb the spiral staircase to the upper level. After going out into the corridor with the statues, turn left and go to the gargoyle statue. If you are visiting this location for the first time, you will need to whisper the password to her in order for a secret ladder to appear leading straight to the director's office.
Second method
If you are seriously engaged in side activities and have made little progress in the plot, then you can use another method to get to the right location. True, for this you will need a broom and Alohomora III, to open which you need to collect demimask figurines. So, first move to the Broom Flying Lawn (Bell Tower Wing).
Then get on your broomstick and fly forward. Rise higher and fly around the building on the right side. Start flying towards the huge central tower on the right. On its left edge there will be an extension with smaller turrets – approach it. Here you will find a balcony with an external staircase. You will need to land on it.
Most likely, you won’t be able to get down to the lower balcony, so climb a little higher. The lower door is locked with a level 2 lock (allows you to get directly to the director's office), and the upper one is locked with a level 3 lock (allows you to open the achievement).
How to unlock the “Room with a View” achievement and find the access key
So, once you're in the director's office, turn left and open the level 2 locked door using Alohomora. Then go up the stone stairs to the top and break open the second door, which will be protected by a level 3 lock. Then climb even higher up the spiral staircase.
Once you get into a room with a globe and a large window with a stunning view of the mountains, you will immediately unlock the achievement “Room with a View” . Turn right and look at the wooden table to find the access key on it.
How to open the barred door in Hogwarts Stairs
Once you get the key, exit the headmaster's office, returning to the hallway with the statues , and run in the opposite direction. At the very end, you will find a strange lattice door with a large keyhole in the center.
Use the previously found access key, to open this door. Once you do that, you will uncover another Hogwarts secret. Inside the secret room you will find a large chest with legendary equipment and a spiral staircase leading up to the tower. There you can find the Manual page and other useful stuff.
