How to thank the god quest
How to start the quest
Dailies cannot be started by talking to an NPC or visiting a specific location, as they are given out randomly on a daily basis. However, you can slightly increase the chance of getting the mission you need by selecting Mondstadt from the desired region list in the Adventurer's Handbook.
Once you've received the right quest, head to the Barbatos Cathedral located in the city of Mondstadt. There, find a nun named Gillian and talk to her. She will ask you to help her clean the statues of the seven Archons located in the region. Note that this quest has three different versions of the passage, and we will consider each of them.
Note: You can only clean the statue of dirt with the help of Anemo attacks, so take the appropriate character into your squad in advance. We advise you to take Sucrose, Heizo or the Wanderer, since even their normal attacks deal Anemo damage.
Option 1: clean the statue at the Dawn distillery
It should be noted that the desired statue of the seven Archons will not be marked on the map until you exit the cathedral. However, next to the specified location there is only one object you need (see screenshots below). Move to it, switch to Anemo hero, and then use any air attack on the statue.
If you do everything right, then the purple glow from the pillar will disappear, and you can return to Gillian with good news. After telling her about the successful cleaning, you will complete the task, receiving the standard reward. Note that in this location, after cleaning the statue, the heroes are sometimes attacked by 3 Cryo slimes and one large Cryo slime.
Option 2: clean the statue at Starfall Lake
As usual, move to the desired statue of the seven Archons (shown in the pictures below), select the Anemo fighter and attack the structure with air strikes until the purple glow disappears from it. Having done this, prepare for a possible attack by 3 Pyro Slimes and one large Pyro Slime. After dealing with the enemies, return to the nun for your reward.
Option 3: clean the statue in the Valley of the Wind
Open the map and teleport to the required statue of the seven Archons (shown in the pictures below), select an Anemo Fighter and attack the structure with air strikes until the purple glow disappears from it.
Having done this, prepare Go for a possible attack of 3 Anemo Slimes and one large Anemo Slime. After dealing with the opponents, return to the nun for a reward, which will definitely include 10 primogems.
