In God of War Ragnarok, Lost lindwurms are one of the requests (side quests) in which you will need to find the lost lizards and deliver them to Ratatosk. As a reward, you will receive experience points and valuable items, as well as unlock the Rightful Place trophy. How to start the Lost Lindwurms request
First of all, you will need to deal with Nidhogg during the “Payback” story mission, and then go through the “Word of Destiny” quest. Returning to Sindri's house, talk to the squirrel named Ratatoskr. He will ask you to return 6 lindwurms to him, along with a tool to catch them – be sure to take this trap before leaving the location.
Tracking the location of the Lindwurm is relatively easy, as they spawn near special rifts in Yggdrasil (an example is shown in the screenshot above). Having caught the lizard, you can immediately take it to the squirrel. However, we advise you to first grab all the creatures, and only then return to the quest giver so that you do not have to run to him several times.
Where to find all the lindwurms
Lindwurm 1
- World: Svartalfheim
- Location: Forge
You can get to it during or after completing the story mission “Forge of Your Destiny”. Once you get your hands on the spear, you'll learn how to use it. Before throwing it at the first point, look to the left and up – there you will find another place for the spear. Drop your new weapon there.
Then mount the first spear and swing the second spear to reach the Yggdrasil rift. In it, you will find the lizard you need.
Note: If you have already completed the story, you can return to the desired area using the trolley located near the Mystic Gate on the Nidavellir Shore.
Lindwurm 2
- World: Svartalfheim
- Location: Alberich Gorges
It will be possible to catch him only after completing the main mission “The Smith of Your Destiny”. You will immediately be given the request “Rebel Spirit”, the label of which will take you to the required area. Note that you can get to it from the pier located on the Dragon Coast, in the southeast of Blagodatnaya Bay.
Climb the big chain on the coast, then use your spear to climb up. Move forward until you meet the Ormstung mini-boss. Deal with him and go a little more straight to the ledge on the left side. Climb it and you'll find a rift with a lizard.
Lindwurm 3
- World: Svartalfheim
- Location: Alberich Island
You should start looking for him after completing the story mission “The Blacksmith of Your Destiny”. Get to the pier located in the northern area of Blagodatnaya Bay. Then use your spear to climb up.
Having risen, use the spear again, but this time to destroy the stones on the left side of the destroyed bridge. As a result, the water will raise the capture point you need, using which you can get to the Yggdrasil rift area.
Lindwurm 4
- World: Svartalfheim
- Location : Core
You should start looking for him after completing the story mission “The Blacksmith of Your Destiny”. When exploring the indicated location, get to the room where the puzzle with the elevator is located. There will be a passage blocked by rubble – throw the ax at the jar of oil to clear the path. Then go forward and go through the large doorway. You will soon find Altjof's statue lying on a ledge on the left.
When you find the artifact, turn right and you will see a spear point. Use it to move to another area. Look to your left and you'll notice a rift in Yggdrasil that hides a lizard.
Lindwurm 5
- World: Vanaheim
- Location: Plains
< p> You will be able to catch him only after completing the “Beasts of Prophecy” story mission. Move to the Mystic Gate in the eastern part of the Plains and climb up to the ledge on the right side. Continue to the right along the path. You will see the Yggdrasil Rift at the edge of the cliff.
Note that if you completed the “Return of the River” request, instead of a precipice there will be a large body of water here, and you can swim to this northeast pier by boat directly from Jungle.
Lindwurm 6
- World: Vanaheim
- Location: Plains
You will only be able to catch him after completing the “Beasts of Prophecy” story mission. You will immediately receive a side quest “The Smell of Survival”, upon completion of which you will be able to get to a new location, where you will be given a new request “For Vanaheim!”.
Follow the quest markers until you reach a huge arena with a dragon. Deal with him and look to the north – there in the corner you will find a Yggdrasil rift in which the lizard is hiding.
After finding all the lindwurms, return to Ratatoskr and give him the lizards. As a result, you will fulfill the request. As a reward, you will be given 4500 XP for Kratos, 1125 XP for Atreus, Lindwurm Scales (required to upgrade a number of spear butts) and Storm Spark (required to upgrade the spear).
