How to start the quest
Dailies drop daily randomly, but you can slightly increase the likelihood of receiving the quest you need. To do this, open the Adventurer's Handbook, go to the “Assignments” tab and select Li Yue in the list of the desired region. Now you just have to wait for the required mission to appear in the journal.
When this finally happens, move to the Abandoned Ruins dungeon located in the Guili Valley and look for Bao Er there, which will be marked with a purple marker. She will ask you for help in finding her lost item.
Note that there are 3 options for completing this task, and only the versions with a heavy box and a lost package are repeated, that is, after finding a casket with trinkets you will never be able to replay this variation of the quest again.
Version 1: heavy box
After talking with the girl, go to the ruins located in the south. To do this, simply use the nearest teleporter, and then glide down to the marked area. Inspect the 2 highlighted dots at the bottom.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to find anything, but you will suddenly be attacked by a mitachurl with a fire axe. Once you deal with him, he will drop a Heavy Box. Next, return to the quest giver.
Bao Er will confirm that you found a relic, but it's not the one she lost. However, you will still complete the quest and receive your standard reward.
Version 2: lost package
This time, the girl will send you to the ruins right next to Luhua Lake. The desired location will be marked with a purple pointer. Move to the nearest teleporter, and then move to the northeast. There you will find a small stone area with ivy, as well as a Slime Pyro and one Void Mage Pyro.
You can quickly deal with these opponents with the help of Cryo, Electro or Hydro damage. After destroying all the mobs, start inspecting the area – you need to study the white light near the destroyed wall. As a result, you will find the Lost Package.
Return to the quest giver, who will inform you that this is again the wrong item, she's looking for, but you'll still get your reward.
Version 3: trinket box
After talking with Bao Er, head north to the small ruins. You can just run to the right place, as it is not far away. When you arrive at the specified area, you will find three treasure thieves and a stranger here.
Deal with the bandits and talk to the girl. You will learn that her name is Soraya. She wants to get rid of Bao Er, so she will give you the Jewelry Box. You can return to the girl, who will again say that you brought her something completely different, but she will still take the relic, and you will receive a reward.
Once again, we note that the option with the box is issued only once, and it is he who allows you to open access to the task “The case of the theft of treasures.” At the same time, some players say that previous versions of the task also need to be completed at least once.
