How to solve puzzles with a navigational compass
The principle of solving these riddles is quite simple – you just need to rotate the outer, middle and inner circles so that all the orange arrows point in the same direction as the blue pointer sticking out from the left.
It's just that sometimes it won't be easy to do so. The fact is that the compass rings can rotate by different amounts – it depends on the bright star marks on the device. For example, one bright star circle means a turn of 60 degrees per turn. Also, often you won't be able to select individual circles, which will force you to rotate two surfaces at once.
All this significantly complicates the solution of the puzzle. Therefore, if you are too lazy to understand all this, then just study the information presented below. In it, we went through the steps of solving each puzzle with the navigational compass.
Navigational compasses at Cloud Ferry
There are two navigational compasses in total in this area (not counting the quest one). It will be possible to take up finding and solving them after completing the story quest called “Among those struck by Mara.” The map below shows the approximate location of the puzzles.

Travel to the Cloud Ferry: Landing Zone Dimensional Anchor, then head south. Here, near the exit from the location, you will find the desired device.

Travel to the Star House Spatial Anchor in the northeast of the location, and then turn around and you will immediately see the desired you device next to the fence.
