How to start the Paper Theater challenge
The Quest “Introductory conversation”
First of all, you it will be necessary to complete the starting quest of the main event called “A Thousand Miles Following the Mysterious Melody”. Next, go to the event menu, select “Paper Theater” and click on the inscription “To the task” to take on the initial mission of this challenge.
You will need to go to the northern pier of Li Yue Harbor – just follow the marker. Here you will find a small puppet stage and some chairs. Talk to passers-by. After a short cutscene, the quest will be completed and you will receive 10,000 mora and 4 adventurer experience. Now chat with Ying Gong to start the first stage of the challenge.
Homecoming
When talking to the director, say that you are ready, and then select the first scene. We advise you to go through a short tutorial before this in order to roughly understand what you have to do in this mini-game.
Scene I
- Main Objective: Enter the room.
First, study a short instruction regarding the movement of the actor. After that, move the door from the right edge to the center of the screen so that the character can enter it. Make sure the character is moving towards the door when moving the scene part.
Scene II
- Main Objective: Enter the room.
Move the section with the vase and the door in the middle, and then wait until the character touches the vase before walking back – at this point, place the section with the door on the far left so the character can enter the room.
Scene III
- Main Objective: Go to Yi Bin.
Help the character get to his sister by moving the vase section to the center of the screen. When the hero touches the object and starts walking in the other direction, move the girl to the center of the playground.
As a result, you will complete the story “The Brave Bearded Man”. Don't forget to claim your reward on the event page.
In the mountains
You can take up this stage on January 21st. It is not necessary to complete the quest “The Only Harmony for an Irreplaceable Soul”, so you can just immediately chat with Ying Gong and select the next story in the window that appears. We advise you to study the instructions again, as the character will have new skills.
Scene I
- Main Objective: Get the chest
Wait until the actor is in the center section, and then move the upper left side with the hole down. After the character touches the stone, walks back and enters the area with a rift, take this section and move it to the upper right corner.
This will cause the character to fall down through the hole and, touching the stone, will go to the right towards the chest. This will complete the scene.
Scene II
- Main Objective: Get the Chest
Immediately after the cutscene begins, move the upper left section with the actor to the upper right corner. Wait for the character to reach the edge and go back to the stone in the middle. Once it's in the center of the screen, move the top left portion with the hole back to the top right.
As soon as the hero enters the upper right platform, move it to the left and up. As a result, the character will fall through the hole and fall straight onto the chest.
Scene III
- Main Objective: Get the chest
Immediately after start the scene, move the lower left section with the actor to the upper right corner. The character will rest against a stone and go in the opposite direction. Wait for it to step on the top left section with the hole and move it to the right corner.
Before the hero falls down, move the top left section to the bottom center so that the actor touches the stone and walks back to the chest. This will end the scene. Don't forget to claim your reward on the event page.
