How to start the quest
There are no prerequisites for starting this mission, but we still advise you to unlock Sumeru first and its desert by completing the Dendro region quest chain. However, if you wish, you can almost immediately go to the “Among the Sands” area and approach the teleport located northwest of the Hadramavet Desert.
Approaching the teleportation point, you should immediately receive the corresponding quest. If this does not happen, then try to approach the bushes located near the teleporter and unearth the mysterious drum Korybanth: Vedana there.

Find Katherine and talk to her
The first thing you need to do is talk to Katherine at the Adventurer's Guild in Sumeru. Move to the city and chat with the girl. She will tell you about the essence of the mission, after which the quest chain will actually start.
Head towards the Temir Mountains and reach the camp
Move to the previously activated teleporter, and then run northwest along the road. Along the way, you can escort the fairy to her house (deal with Anemo hilichurl outcast to unlock the regular chest) to get a regular chest. After reaching the camp near the gray crystals, you will need to chat with a stranger.
Pirro will say that this is a restricted area where outsiders cannot enter, so he will attack you. This enemy is only a slightly enhanced hermit, so there should be no problems with him. Plus, the fight will end when the enemy has about half health left. A wager will appear, Soroush, who will agree to accompany you in exchange for the drum.
Follow Sorush and deal with the monsters
Start running after the bet. She is marked with a marker and will stop if you get behind her, so you can find her anyway. It will also deploy green platforms with four-leaf symbols to help you navigate pits and canyons.

Destroy the gray crystals with the power of Hvarna
The first step is to find the Spirit Core. To do this, destroy the pile of stones on the right side, highlighted with a white triangle. Approach the green orb and begin to guide it towards the crystal to melt it and get the Glow in the Mud Stream trophy.
Head to the training base and talk to the head of the Skeptic Order
Move deep into the cave, dealing with various enemies along the way. After dealing with a group of treasure thieves, open the chest and escort the fairy to the house located above. To climb, use the four-leaf symbols located near the wooden platforms and ladders. You can also collect Dendroculus along the way.
Climbing up, open a rich chest. On the left will be the camp of the order of skeptics. Approach the man next to the tent and talk to him. You will learn what the drum is for.
Speak with Nasejuna near the Tuniga Gap
After the conversation, you will receive Sorush as a new companion. In order to summon it, you will need to first equip your character with it (it is in the inventory in the “Tools” category). Now move towards the Tuniga breach by moving to the statue of the seven Archons (if you have already opened it). Stand on the wooden platform marked with a marker. Next, chat with Sorush and Nasejuna to learn about the gray crystals and the great songs of Hvarna.
Go to the Oasis of Vurukash and find Zurvan
Start walking through the Tunigi gap to the west or simply move to west teleport (if you have it already open) and move north along the road. You will come to the entrance to the Gate of Dhu-l-Qarnayn. Enter the cave and move on.
Here, for the first time, you will discover the Growing Spirit – vines entwined with the power of Hvarna. You can collect this energy with Sorush: press the “Z” key, and then turn the camera to the vine and use the bet ability (the “E” key by default). As a result, you will open the trophy “Whose descendant are you? What's your name?”.
Soon you will reach a spacious area where you need to go down. Along the way, you can collect a Dendroculus hanging over a gray crystal. After descending, chat with Sorush again. Now move up the tunnel. Along the way, deal with the molders to unlock a regular chest.
When you go up, you will see another chest with a barrier, guarded by Hilichurls and Mitachurls. Having dealt with the enemies, climb the slope even higher and go into the next tunnel. Keep climbing up and you'll get out of the cave. Don't forget to activate the teleporter along the way.
Now run along the cliff, using the giant tree and the beam from the statue of the seven Archons as a guide. Get to the marker and talk to Sorush again. You will need to find Zurvan, located inside the tree. On the way, activate the statue if you haven't already.
After going inside the tree, turn right and reach the next spacious area. Here, activate the teleporter and chat with the primordial bet. After talking to her, you will complete the quest and receive the Land of Light trophy. Plus, you will have access to the following chain missions: Itihasa Asipattravana and True Sound of Awakening.
