In Genshin Impact, Tiori is a 5-star Geo elemental character who uses a one-handed sword in battle. Note: The Fontaine Modeler has not yet been officially released, so the data presented here is based on information obtained through beta testing. If necessary, we will update the guide when the heroine appears in the game.

Main features of Tiori

How to get Tiori

In the first phase of update 4.5, this swordsman will appear in the banner, which will increase its drop rate. In the future, it will be possible to obtain this character only with the help of Prayers. Unfortunately, HoYoverse has never held an event where the reward would be a 5-star fighter, so you definitely won’t be able to get a designer for free.

Advantages and disadvantages of Tiori

Using her unique abilities, this heroine can inflict significant Geo damage to both single and multiple targets outside the battlefield. Its advantages also include:

  • She is able to give herself Geo infusion for a short period of time, which simplifies the creation of the Crystal reaction, and with C6 she can even turn her into a good main DD.
  • The low cost of an elemental explosion (50 units) allows you to use it once every two rotations even without increasing energy recovery.
  • Extremely convenient to use sub-DD, which can deal Geo damage to enemies out of the field throughout the entire battle, since the duration of the elemental skill is higher than its cooldown.< /li>
  • The damage from the skill and ult is scaled by both Attack and Defense, which simplifies the construction of the build. In addition, the heroine initially has fairly high base values of these parameters.
  • Goes well with other Geo characters, especially those capable of creating Geo structures, as they allow her to summon a second Sode doll and give a bonus to Geo damage.< /li>
  • Thanks to the passive talent Tailor Made, she allows you to instantly switch to main damage control while dealing additional damage.
  • Long pressing the skill allows the heroine to instantly move to the selected point, which allows her to reach hard-to-reach places when exploring the world or perform successive attacks while falling with the main damage dealer in battle.

Tiori in Genshin Impact: guide to the best builds< /p>

However, it is still impossible to call Tiori an ideal character, since she also has her drawbacks:

  • To fully realize her potential, you must take her into the squad with a character capable of creating a Geo-construction, which imposes certain restrictions on the construction of a pack. You can get rid of this requirement only by opening C1, but even with it you will still have to have at least one Geo fighter in your team.
  • Even with C6 the heroine is not able to become a good main damage dealer, losing in damage to the top main -DDs who were originally intended for this role.
  • You need to carefully monitor the rotation, be sure to activate the E-shka twice, and arrange the characters in the squad so that the main DD goes immediately after Tiori.

Tiori's abilities

When performing a regular attack, “Weaving Blade,” the heroine makes up to 4 quick swings of the sword, and with a charged attack, she cuts the air in front of her with the blade twice, spending a small amount of stamina. While performing a fall kick, she quickly rushes to the ground, hitting all enemies in her path, and after landing, she deals area damage.

Explanation: In the absence of C6, simple hits can occasionally be used to activate some passives or trigger a Crystal reaction (if Geo Infusion is available). If the 6th Constellation is open, then their usefulness increases significantly, since they begin to inflict significant damage, which begins to depend more on Defense than on Attack. So in artifacts, taking the watch on ATK is not recommended in any case.

After using the elemental skill “Hasode Flutter”, the heroine lunges with a sword, then summoning the Sode automaton doll and performing an upward blow, which inflicts Geo on nearby enemies area damage. If you long press the skill button, the aiming mode is activated, allowing you to specify the direction of the dash.

As for the Sode doll, it will periodically inflict Geo damage in an area to nearby targets ( the damage radius is 12 meters). At the same time, if there is a Geo construction nearby, then another automaton with a separate timer appears near the active hero.

Explanation: The main source of damage for Tiori, which should be pumped to the maximum. Its multipliers depend more on Defense than on Attack, so again you should focus your attention on increasing this particular stat. The damage is dealt not by the fashion designer herself, but by her doll Sode – in 17 seconds she manages to hit 5 times (or 10 times if there is a second automaton) and create approximately 4-5 particles of energy in one rotation.

With a long press, you can easily send the heroine flying, and then press E-shka again to instantly switch to the main DD and perform a fall attack with it (claymore owners will benefit most from this maneuver). In addition, the doll will make a joint attack with him, causing additional damage.

The explosion of the element “Hieku: Twin Blades” makes it possible to inflict Geo damage in an area, scaled by the heroine’s attack power and defense.

Explanation: Hit nearby enemies once. Although the cost of the ult is relatively low (50 units), you will still need a high energy recovery rate to activate it on cooldown, because Tiori will not be able to pick up her particles while in her pocket. However, the game is not worth the candle, since it is better to increase her Defense even more, since the main source of damage is the E-shka.

It is also impossible not to point out the extremely useful passive talents of the supreme judge. The first one is called Graceful Shapes – it increases the movement speed of allies by 10% if any of them are wearing a suit or glider that is not the stock (default) one.

The second – Tailored – after activating an elemental skill, if you press the skill button again, it activates the “Patterned Fabric” state, in which the next hero on your team instantly becomes active. In this case, a normal, charged or falling strike on an enemy leads to a joint attack with Sode, dealing Geo damage in an area equal to 100% of the damage of the upward strike. This effect ends after 8 seconds, and during its effect a maximum of two joint attacks can be made.

If, after using the E-shki, you make a regular blow, then Tiori receives a Geo infusion for 5 seconds. This effect is also activated automatically if you continue to play as a swordswoman, but do not use her skill or a simple attack after activating Hasode Flutter.

As for the third passive, “Ornamented Brocade,” it increases the heroine’s Geo damage by 20% for 20 seconds if a team member creates a Geo-construction next to her. A nice bonus, but not so significant that for the sake of it you would try to fit into the squad a character with the ability to create Geo objects.

Tyori Constellations

To open them, you need to accumulate the character’s Luck, which is issued when duplicates of the heroine appear, which, of course, is random. Given the low chance of getting 5-star characters, you will need to spend a lot of time and money to unlock all the constellations. However, even without them, Tiori can play the role of sub-DD well.

If you still decide to try your luck, then we recommend that you stop at C1, which eliminates the need to look for a partner for the fashion designer who can create Geo-structures. For those who were planning to use it with such allies anyway (like Zhong Li), this constellation would be practically useless. So if you have a choice between it and the signature, then knock out the weapon.

Here is the full list of constellations:

  1. Six Knowledge of Silk – increases Sode’s damage radius by 50% ( up to 18 meters) and removes the need to create Geo structures to summon a second doll and receive a bonus to Geo damage. These effects will occur if there is at least one Geo character in the team besides Tiori.
  2. Five colors of fabric – summons a Kina doll after using her ult, which will attack nearby enemies every 3 seconds for 10 seconds, causing them Geo damage in an area equal to 170% of Sode's damage.
  3. Four brocade decorations – level skill increases by three. Maximum level: 15th. A very useful constellation that significantly increases the heroine’s overall damage.
  4. Three Courtesies of the Tailor – After activating the Tailor Made passive, using a simple, charged, or fall strike on an enemy will summon a Kina doll near him. The effect lasts 8 seconds and can be summoned once every 15 seconds, and as part of its effect, the automaton can be summoned no more than three times.
  5. Two silk feathers – the ult level increases by three. Maximum level: 15th.
  6. Following a single principle – when activating the Tailor-made passive, the cooldown time of the heroine’s skill is reduced by 12 seconds, and damage from normal attacks increases by 235% of the heroine’s defense.

It is thanks to the 6th Constellation that Tiori is able to become a good active damage dealer, almost constantly inflicting Geo damage to enemies, since the infusion duration is 5 seconds, and she will be able to use the skill after 4 seconds. However, again, is there any point in spending resources on the heroine and knocking out C6 for her, if some top damage dealer like al-Haitham is able to achieve similar values with much less investment?

How to play as Tiori

As we previously noted, Tiori will deal most of the damage with her automaton dolls. At the same time, she will not be on the battlefield very much time, and you will not have to pay much attention to her other abilities. By including her in your team, you can be guaranteed to deal damage to Geo enemies from your pocket.

Although the heroine is limited by her element, which does not allow her to create elemental reactions that cause additional damage, she has very high multipliers, which fully compensates for her lack of ability to use attacking combinations of elements. In addition, she is one of the few characters in the game whose abilities are scaled by two characteristics (Attack and Defense), which simplifies the selection of equipment.

Tiori in Genshin Impact: guide to the best builds

Energy restoration is definitely not a priority parameter for pumping up for a fashion designer, since her ultimate, at best, deals only ¼ of the total damage. It's better to spend additional resources on increasing Defense and crits. Use the elemental explosion not on cooldown, but when ready.

Don't forget to place the main DD immediately after Tiori so that you can automatically switch to it after double-clicking E-shka. In general, the gameplay for this heroine may seem flat and monotonous to some, but you will definitely turn a blind eye to it, watching the beautiful damage numbers on the screen.

As for rotation, in the role of sub-DD, the optimal sequence of actions for her will look like this:

  1. Place a Geo construction in the absence of C1 and the presence of a character capable of installing a similar object, so that Tiori receives the corresponding buffs .
  2. Select a fashion designer and use an elemental skill (you can use a long press if the team has a main DD with a claymore, so that he can then perform a fall strike) to summon the dolls and deal one-time damage. Then immediately press the skill button again to switch to the main damage dealer.
  3. Continue to play as the main damage dealer, using his abilities and normal attacks. When Tiori's dolls disappear, switch to her again and use E-shka twice.
  4. Use the fashion designer's elemental explosion when ready, not on cooldown. If you do not increase your VE, you will most likely be able to activate your ultimate once every two rotations.

Tiori in Genshin Impact: guide for the best builds

If you have opened C6 and want to use Tiori as a main DD, then her rotation will change slightly:

  1. First use the skills of supports and subs Damage dealers operating from the pocket to strengthen the main damage dealer and prepare for the activation of reactions.
  2. Switch to Tiori and use her elemental skill (for greater effectiveness, it is better to use a quick press) to summon dolls and deal one-time damage. Then use a normal strike to get a Geo Infusion and reduce the cooldown of the E-Shki.
  3. Hit opponents with simple attacks for 5 seconds. Then activate the elemental skill again and repeat the entire cycle. You can use your ult when you are ready.

Best builds for Thiori

Best weapons

When choosing a one-handed sword, priority should be given to those that increase critical damage, the chance of critical hits and defense, and also enhance the skill. Weapons with attack bonuses are also suitable, but will still be less effective. The table below presents the most interesting options.

Name and rarityCharacteristics (level 1 -90)Passive ability

Tiori in Genshin Impact: guide for the best builds

Uraku misugiri (5 stars)

Critical damage: 19.2%~ 88.2%

Base attack: 44~542

Increases normal attack damage by 16-32% and elemental skill damage by 24-48%. Additionally increases these effects by 100% for 15 seconds if the active hero deals Geo damage. Plus, the owner's protection increases by 20-40%. Tiori's signature weapon, which enhances all the characteristics she needs and requires at least one additional Geo character in the squad. Even in an unawakened state, it will be more powerful than any legendary sword with R5.

Tiori in Genshin Impact: guide to the best builds

Precious Pool (5 stars)

Critical hit chance: 9.6%~44.1%

Base attack: 44-542

Increases the hero's health by 20%~40% and gives an attack bonus equal to 1.2%~2.4% of the hero's maximum health. Allows Thiori to crit more often and deal slightly more damage with her abilities due to increased attack power. If you can significantly increase critical damage with artifacts, then you will be able to at least get a little closer to the signature indicators.

Tiori in Genshin Impact: guide for the best builds

Vinnabar spindle (4 stars)

Defense: 15%~69%  < /p>

Base attack: 41~454

Increases skill damage by 40-80% of Defense. The bonus appears once every one and a half seconds and disappears 0.1 seconds after damaging the enemy with the E-shka. The best 4-star weapon for Tiori, which enhances her abilities by increasing her defense and gives a direct bonus to the skill, although it will not work all the time due to the cooldown. Unfortunately, newcomers will not be able to get it, since it was given as a reward for completing the event in version 2.3.

< p>Tiori in Genshin Impact : guide to the best builds

Wolf Fang (4 stars)

Crit chance. hits: 6~27.6%

Base attack: 42~510

Increases damage from skills and ults by 16~32%. When a skill or elemental explosion hits an enemy, his crit chance increases by 2~4%. Bonuses can work simultaneously. Each of them lasts 10 seconds and stacks up to four times. Can appear once every 0.1 second. An excellent option for Tiori in the absence of the Cinnabar Spindle, as it allows you to crit more often and strengthens the E-shka. With the 5th awakening, even the Precious Pool will be able to overtake the total damage. But you can only get it from a paid Battle Pass.

Tiori in Genshin Impact: guide to the best builds

Harbinger of Dawn (3 stars)

Critical damage: 10.2%~46.9%

Base attack: 39-401

Increases critical strike chance by 14%~28% when health is above 90%. If you can keep Tiori at maximum health and don't take on characters that reduce the HP of allies (for example, Furina), then this sword with the 5th awakening can be a good option for the heroine.

Thiori in Genshin Impact: guide to the best builds

Corrupted Desire (4 stars)

< /td>

Energy recovery: 10%~45.9%

Base attack: 42-510

Increases elemental skill damage by 16%~32% and the chance of inflicting crits by 6%~12%. Restoring energy will allow Tiori to use her ultimate every rotation (which is actually not very useful), and strengthening the E-shka will significantly increase her damage outside the field. Therefore, if you were able to get it in patch 1.3, and you have it lying around, you can give it to the fashion designer.

Best artifacts

As in the case of one-handed swords, we recommend taking artifacts that can increase crits, defense and damage from an elemental skill. The table below shows the best options.

Golden Corpse

2 parts: increases damage from elemental skills by 20%.

4 parts: increases damage from elemental skills by another 25%. If the owner is not on the battlefield, then the damage of the E-Shki increases by another 25%. 2 seconds after the character leaves the pocket, the bonus disappears.

Obtained from the “End of Sin” dungeon. An excellent option for a sub-DD who will occasionally enter the battlefield to quickly deal damage with a skill and ult (if ready) and then move into the pocket.

Cocoon of sweet dreams

2 parts: increase the indicator protection by 30 percent.

4 parts: Gives the character the Curiosity effect. Its 1st level is issued after the active hero hits an enemy with a Geo attack (once every 0.3 seconds). If he is outside the battlefield, then level 1 is issued once every 3 seconds. This effect can grow up to level 4, with each level increasing Geo damage and defense by 6 percent. If a fighter does not gain a new level of Curiosity within 6 seconds, the effect will lose one level.

Obtained from the Slumbering Garden dungeon. The best option when using Tiori as a main damage dealer, as it will significantly increase her damage. At the same time, it can also be used by a sub-DD. If you already have this set with good stats, then you do not need to additionally knock out the Golden Troupe.

As for the main characteristics of artifacts, take the hourglass for Defense, the cup (chalice) for the Geo damage bonus, and the crown (hat) for crit. chance/crit. damage in the ratio of 1 to 2. The priority for choosing secondary parameters is as follows: crits, energy recovery and protection.

Best commands for Tiori

To unlock the full potential of a fashion designer, she needs at least one additional Geo character in the squad, and in the absence of C1, it is highly desirable that he be able to place Geo designs ( Zhong Li, Ning Guang, Traveler, Albedo or Itto).

As a result, you will have a choice between creating mono Geo packs and teams with two Geo heroes. The former make it easier to gain energy for the ultimate, while the latter are more versatile. Next, let's look at the most interesting options.

Pumping up Thiori

How to improve skills

You will have to search and collect a wide variety of materials, namely:

  • Teachings, instructions and philosophies about “Light” – obtained on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in the “Violet Hall” dungeon.
  • Spectral Shell, Heart, and Core – dropped by ghosts, purchased with Star Glint, or crafted through Alchemy
  • Dark Silk Thread – dropped by the weekly boss Devouring Narwhal.
  • Crown of Epiphany – possible obtained during events, as well as by upgrading the Sacred Sakura, the Permafrost Tree, the Tree of Dreams and the Lucin Fountain.

Tiori in Genshin Impact: guide to the best builds

If we talk about the priority of leveling up talents, then when playing as a sub-DD, you should first increase the elemental skill, and then take on the elemental explosion (you don’t have to level up regular attacks). For main DD, first of all, level up your E-shka, and then take on the ultimate and simple attacks.

How to elevate your character

Get ready to search and collect a large number of different materials. Their list and methods of extraction are indicated below.

Thiori in Genshin Impact: guide to the best builds

You can get Prithiv topazes from Geo Hypostasis, Golden Wolf Leader, Serpent of Ruins, Infinite Mechanical Array, Experimental Field Generator , Ancient Geovishap, Lupus Borealis and Azhdhi. Spare Parts of the Wonderful Mechanism: Coppelia drops from the Icy Wind Suite. Bloodflowers are a local specialty of Inazuma. We indicated their location in a separate guide.
