In Genshin Impact, Yan Xiao's Dilemma is Li Yue's daily quest, which requires you to help the chef “Vansha” to find lotus cups and transcendental pepper. How to start the quest
Dailies drop randomly every day, but you can slightly increase the chance of getting the quest you need. To do this, open the Adventurer's Handbook, go to the “Assignments” tab and select Li Yue in the list of the desired region. Now you just have to wait for the required mission to appear in the journal.
When this finally happens, teleport straight to the Wanshu Inn. Then enter the building and go down the stairs two floors down – in the kitchen you will find Chef Yan Xiao, whom you will need to talk to. He will ask you to get some ingredients to prepare a special dish for fisherman Jiang Xue.
Where to find sky-high pepper and lotus cups
Let's start with red pepper. If you are too lazy to look for it, then you can simply purchase the right amount from Chef Mao in Li Yue Harbor. He sells 5 of these local curiosities for 1000 mora each.
If you have already bought all the sky-high peppers from him and managed to spend them, then head to the Stone Gate, where you can find 7 bushes at once.
As for lotus cups, they can also be bought from Mao in the People's Choice. If he does not have these ingredients, then go to the Bubu Hut, which is also located in the capital of Li Yue. Here you can get 10 plants you need for 300 mora each.
You can also find one lotus cup west of Vanshu Inn. The required space is shown in the screenshots below.
When you find the required amount of ingredients, return to the smiling Yan Xiao and give him the indicated items. After that, he will ask you to give the dish he prepared to Jiang Xue, who is fishing to the east of Wanshu on a small island. Just go down to him on a glider.

How to unlock the “Cook and Fisherman” achievement
