Where to find regular Astegons

You can find them in the Third Hunting Ban Zone, which is located in the easternmost part of the world on a remote island. You can get here on a flying or floating Palais. At the same time, remember that we are talking about a creature of epic rarity, so in this location there may well not be the creature you need. In this case, wait here for 3-4 game days or re-login to the server for it to update.

Please note that catching Pals on the territory of nature reserves is prohibited, so you will see the inscription “Violation of the Law” on the screen. If you are noticed by law enforcement officers, you will be immediately attacked, as you will be considered a criminal. You can either hide from them or attack and kill them. How to get to the Alpha version of Astegon

You can find it inside the Ruined Mine, the entrance to which is located west of the Obsidian Volcano Slope location. The exact location of the passage can be seen in the screenshots and gif below – it is hidden behind the rocks, so it is quite easy to miss it.

This boss is located in the very depths of the cave, so move forward until you find yourself in a spacious area sanctified by lava. We do not advise you to touch the magma, as you may lose health.

How to defeat and catch Astegon

Next, we will tell you how you can deal with the Alpha version of this dark dragon, but our tips are also suitable for capturing ordinary Astegons. So, first of all, you will need to prepare equipment for your character:

• Pump-action shotgun – allows you to deal huge damage at close range, but takes a long time to reload.
• Assault rifle – deals great damage at medium and close range due to its high rate of fire. Try to shoot in the head for extra damage. You will need about 1 thousand rounds.
• Palanium heat protection armor and palanium helmet – the enemy is on a volcanic island, so heat-resistant equipment is indispensable. Palanium items provide the best protection.
• Terashield – use it to increase your survivability. He independently restores his strength if he does not receive damage.

Be sure to also take the legendary Pal Spheres with you to increase the likelihood of successfully capturing Astegon. This chance can also be increased by increasing the corresponding characteristic near the Pal Statues.
