Where to find the special Stone Boss Balls in Honkai: Star Rail 2.2
First, complete the “In Our Time” quest chain to unlock access to all locations of patch 2.2 in Penaconia. After that, you can start searching for balls.
Dream Stream Reef (Elysian Balloon)
Travel to the City of Old Dreams spatial anchor located on the second floor of the Dream Stream Reef. Next, go east, up the stairs, and approach the pillar on the left side, from which an origami bird feather may be peeking out. Examine it and give 1 Aiden token.
Next, approach the blue barrier and select the “To the roof” option to go upstairs to another location. Run forward to the grate, and then turn the camera to the left, and you will see a rotating ball in the air in front of you. Select a fighter with ranged attacks (Pela, March 7, Ruan Mei, etc.) and shoot this ball to explode it and unlock the achievement.
Scorched Sands Qualifying Site (Second Balloon Eruption)
Teleport to the crimson sepal “Bud of the Hunt” in the starting area of the indicated location, then turn around and walk to the red carpet ahead. Having stepped onto it, take a few steps towards the sphere, and then turn 180 degrees again and look down – you will see a rotating ball near the water, which must be destroyed by any ranged character.
Grand Theater of Penaconia (A Post-Balloon Odyssey)
Travel to the Meeting Room anchor in the indicated area, then enter the room behind the red curtain and interact with the painting to be transported to a dream world with a 3D map. If your frame is inactive, first complete the side quest “Hunting for Prey in the Labyrinths.”
Once in the new area, take the dream bubbles from the fountain, interact with the dream module ahead and turn it to the right. Then activate the golden bridge on the right and go across it. Interact with the second bubble fountain and go back.

When you return, run to the right, go down the stairs and move the bottom module dreams to the left. The top dream module also needs to be returned to the left so that you can turn the bridge to the left and walk across it.
After moving to another plane, activate the second bridge on the left and return to the horizontal area. Run forward and go up the stairs on the right. Then turn left and interact with the bubble fountain. Go down a little and deploy the next bridge near the enemy.
Go forward, cross another bridge and you will find yourself on open area. Go left to the edge of the platform. A little far away in the air you will see a spinning ball that needs to be knocked out by a long-range character. We advise you to use March 7 or Pelu for this.
As soon as you explode the ball, you will unlock the last achievement for blowing up special balls in update 2.2 locations. As a result, you will earn an additional 15 star jades.
