New characters and banners
The miHoYo team has not yet officially introduced new characters for the game. However, insiders shared relevant information. They also talked about future banners and the abilities of new heroes.
First phase banners
Informants suggest that the following fighters will be featured in banners in the first half of the patch:
- 5-star – Tiori (Geo, one-handed sword) and Albedo (Geo, one-handed sword).
- 4-star – unknown yet.
Chiori is a talented fashion designer from Inazuma who currently resides in Fontaine. She left her homeland after Sakoku issued a decree to close the borders. She sews unique custom clothing for many famous residents of the Hydro Kingdom, including Navia. As for her role in the squad, she will most likely turn out to be a secondary damage dealer.

New locations
With a high probability, the developers will not add a new area in the upcoming update. Previously, there were rumors that a new area with the Port of Thorns would appear in the north of Mondstadt, however, apparently, this idea will only be implemented in patches 5.X. As for the latest expansion for Fontaine, it will be released in version 4.6.
New weapons
So far, only one new weapon is known – we are talking about the signature one-handed sword for Tiori. His stats and passive talent are unknown. It is only indicated that it will increase the critical damage of the wearer.
New tasks
There will most likely be no new Archon quests, since Fontaine's arc is completed, and Harlequin's arc will be continued in patch 4.6, where she will become a playable character. However, the team may well release a new chapter of the interim volume.
Legend Quests
Most likely, Chiori will receive a personal quest, in which players can be shown her past and told how exactly she managed to leave Inazuma . Perhaps the designer will even decide to visit her homeland again, since now no one will pursue her there.
World Quests
Naturally, the developers will add new side quests. Their events are likely to unfold in Inazuma and Fontaine.
New events
Festival in Mondstadt
Players will enjoy an annual wine festival in the Anemo kingdom. Perhaps various characters from Fontaine will visit Mondstadt. As usual, you will be able to take part in several mini-games and win valuable prizes.
