In Honkai: Star Rail, Hook Gift is a companion mission in which you have to help the Mole leader find buyers for the auction and win it to acquire a geo-entity probe. If you're having trouble getting or completing the quest, check out our guide.

Hook's Gift Mission
How to start the quest
Before you can take on this quest, you will need to meet a number of conditions, namely:
- Achieve at least level 24 of Mastery.
- Complete the mastery mission “The Silence of the Galaxy” from the “Under the Scorching Dawn Sun” storyline.
- Complete the Mole Leader's previous mission, Baby Hook's Treasure.

Next, you have to wait for a message to arrive on the phone from Wild Fire. When this happens, teleport to the Goethe Grand Hotel anchor located in Kamnegrad and chat with the auction staff to find out more about the upcoming auction.
Find out more about the auction
Now go to the girl and tell her about the upcoming event. You will find her near Natasha's clinic. Then enter the hospital and talk to the doctor to pick up the teddy bear.
Next, teleport to the Rogue Camp anchor in the Robot Settlement and talk to the auctioneer to learn about the auction. She will tell you that the more buyers come to the auction, the higher the price of the toy can be.
How to find buyers for the auction
You will need to talk to three NPCs. The first two are very close, right in the camp, and the third is a little lower. You can choose any answers during the dialogue, as they will not affect anything.
Find buyers, try to sell the toy at a higher price
Note: This is an optional quest that appears to provide more shields for selling the bear, but does not affect the quest's ending or rewards in any way.
In total, you can find three additional buyers for the auction: the Waiting Old Woman, the Auction Worker and the Furry Hobo. Next, we'll show you how to convince them to bid.
Waiting old lady
Approach the granny at the entrance to the camp. She will tell you about her missing grandson and ask you to find him. Luckily, it's nearby. Its location is shown on the map below.

Walk back a little and then take the right passage and you will see a boy surrounded by level 43 rogues. Join the fight with the bandits. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the screenshot below. Then go back to granny and convince her to buy a teddy bear.
Blanched tramp
Now go to the kid with the glasses who is standing near the entrance to the camp and chat with him. You will need to find the robot that stole the contract. The location of the guy and the robot is shown on the map below.
To find the thief, you will first have to cross the bridge located in front of the Svarog base, and then use the elevator to go down down. Get off the lift and immediately turn left. Go under the bridge, cross the crevice and turn left again.

Climb up and engage in a fight with automatons-beetles. Their vulnerabilities are shown in the screenshot below. We advise you to take Serval and Dan Heng to the team. After dealing with the opponents, take the contract and return it to the vagrant.
Auction Worker
He can be found to the left of the Auctioneer, in the camp. Talk to him. He'll tell you about another buyer. Move to Kamnegrad and talk to Gerty near the Goethe Hotel. Then tell her about the bear.

How to find a suspect in Kamnegrad
After finding all the buyers, you can talk to the auctioneer again. Then the auction will begin, during which 600 shields will be given for your bear. It will be purchased by a gem expert. However, the geo-entity search probe will not be set.

Ask the auction worker what happened to the device. You will find out that the device has been stolen. You need to find out information about a suspicious person. To do this, first talk to the naive miner.
Next, move to Kamnegrad to the marked area and turn into an alley at the end of which you will see a suspicious miner. You have to fight him. Its vulnerabilities are shown in the picture below.
How to win the auction
Next, return to the camp and hand over the probe. You will receive 200 more shields as a reward, bringing your total to 800 shields. Then the bidding will start, within which you will be able to choose the following answers:
- “It's up to you, Hook.” In this case, the baby will put 750 shields and win the auction. She uses the rest of the money to thank Natasha for her help.
- “Let's put everything we have!”. You will bid 800 shields and win the auction, but you won't have any money left to thank Natasha.
Now return to the clinic and talk to the doctor again. She agrees to wrap the gift. Exit the medical facility and go forward a little to find Hook. Chat with her and watch the new video.
When the cutscene ends, you will unlock the Gift of the Magi trophy and the companion mission will end. Hook is now a guest on the Star Express, so you can find her in the train car. Plus, you'll receive the following rewards: 350 Exploration XP, 60 Star Jades, Jun Jun Profile Avatar, 200 Shields, 20,000 Credits, 6 Adventure Logs, and 60 Star Jades.
