In Dragon's Dogma 2, Slum Saint is a side quest that can be taken in the city of Vernworth . During it, you will have to look around the Gracious Hand, find evidence, give the “medicine” to Radcliffe and detain the abbess. Completing the quest “Saint of the Slums” in Dragon's Dogma 2
How to start the task
We can’t say for sure yet, but with a high probability this mission is issued only after completing the quest “On the Outskirts of History,” where you need to help Kendrick find the boy Malcolm in the vaults. After this, visit the Capital Slums again. As you approach the church, you will see the couple arguing with one of the sisters about their son and then leaving.
When the conversation between them is completed, go up to the sister standing to the right of the passage to the church and chat with her. Her name is Elena, and she treats patients. However, she does not have enough ingredients for the medicine, so the girl will ask you for a favor – agree with her request.
How to get miasmite
Your pawns will note that miasmite is a special material that is knocked out of ghosts. We are talking about phantom monsters that prowl the earth at night. So, spend time overnight, resting in a hotel or sitting on a bench, and then take at least two magicians into your group, since the opponents you need are vulnerable to magical damage.
Now leave the capital by going through the northeast gate and cross the bridge. Almost immediately on the right side you will see 2-3 spirits. The exact location is shown in the pictures below. You need to defeat the phantoms as quickly as possible, otherwise they will simply run away from you – use powerful spells that hit the area.
Another location is a little further to the northeast. Just follow the road and you'll soon see spirits on the hill on the left. Be careful, as there are also wolves roaming nearby. Note that not every ghost drops miasmite. Plus, he's pretty hard to see on the ground at night, so be sure to use the Action command to have the pawns sweep the area after the fight.
The third location is located just west of the first place we described. There is usually only one ghost found here. Let's add that if the material was picked up by a pawn, then do not forget to transfer it to your inventory. Having collected the required amount of miasmite, return to Elena and give her the ingredients.
Look around at the Gracious Hand
The sister will thank you and invite you to look around the chambers. Agree and enter the church. Go to the bed where Lyubomir is lying and chat with the guy. He suspects Elena, believing that she is not healing, but crippling him. You will need to collect evidence of her atrocities.
Now just leave the church, and Lottie will immediately talk to you, who will tell you that everything the seriously ill are in the basement, but only Elena can enter there. Return to Lyubomir again and tell him what you were able to find out.
Find evidence and detain the abbess
Lyubomir will ask you to conduct an investigation and find evidence that proves Elena’s guilt. Wait until nightfall, and then go down to the church basement, turning right (from the sick guy's bed). Once down, go through the door on the right. Then open the door in front (if you come here during the day, the abbess will not let you in).
You will find yourself in a room with seriously ill patients. Go even further through the fabric covering the passage into a small room with bottles and shelves. Here, pick up Medicine without a tag from the table, and from the bookshelf – Treatment Notes. You can show both items to Lyubomir for more information.
Next, go to Walter's tavern, located north of the church, and talk to two patients who were in the hospital and came out healthy. From Bruno you will learn interesting information about the dark affairs of the abbess.
Wait for nightfall (if it's daytime), and then head to the center of the Commons Quarter, where the direction will indicate quest marker. Here you will find Elena talking to a suspicious man. If you have not yet communicated with Lyubomir, then visit him and show him the medicine – he will ask you to show the bottle to a doctor named Redcliffe.
This character lives in Border Town, located west of Vernworth. If you don’t want to drag yourself there, then use the cart located in the western part of the capital. Once in the settlement, go upstairs and enter the house marked with a sign. Then give the “cure” to Radcliffe.
The doctor will say that he needs time to study the drug. Go to a local hotel or just sit on a bench once. Go back to the doctor. If you don't find it on the first floor, then look on the second. He will tell you that this drug is more of a poison than a medicine.
Now return to Vernworth and go to the church. You won’t find Lyubomir on the bed, and Lottie will tell you that he was taken to the basement for intensive treatment. Go downstairs and go to the ward with seriously ill patients. Elena will be waiting for you in front of the entrance – go up to her and grab her by pressing the RT button (or R2 on PS5). After that, she will automatically be put behind bars.
Chat with the guard. This will bring the task to an end. As a reward you will receive 1600 experience points and 11,000 gold. You can then go down into the dungeon (be careful and don't get caught by the guards) to talk to Elena.
As for Lyubomir, he will continue to lie in the ward for seriously ill patients. You can chat with Lottie again to find out about his condition. Unfortunately, his line is no longer moving forward.
