Walkthrough of the “Open Secret” quest in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
How to start the task
To start the quest, first complete the 4th main mission called “Sleeper Agent”. Next, go to the point indicated on the map. In one of the buildings at the construction site, receive a new order.
Talk to the netrunner
First of all, talk to Mr. Hands' netrunner. Finding it won't be difficult. From the place where you just received the task, turn left and run literally 15 meters.
Talk to the man and he will fill you in on the matter. V will temporarily become agent Victoria Wilson, who came to look at the young athletes, and supposedly conclude a contract in the future. All this must be done in order to penetrate the director's office and steal information about other agents.
After a short conversation with the netrunner, head to the exhibition hall. Go to the elevator – it is located a little to the right of the place where you just talked with the hacker. The required room is located on the floor below.
How to get to Fiona Vargas's office
Now all that’s left to do is find Director Vargas’s office. You will immediately notice that there are no signs here. First, approach the administrator and enter into dialogue with him.
You will be asked to visit the bar – do so. When you are there, the bartender will ask you to sit on the other side of the bar. After you sit down, he will approach you and speak. From him you will learn that the office you need is located one floor below.
When the bartender asks , which club you represent, you can choose one of two answer options.
Note that it will not be possible to complete this task without shooting at all. However, by using camouflage and carefully eliminating enemies, you can make a minimum of noise. Next we will tell you what will happen if you choose different options.
Indicate the name of the club
If you tell the name of the club to the bartender, then the guest sitting on the left will talk to you. He will start asking uncomfortable questions that you simply won’t have answers to. As a result, the bartender, suspecting something is wrong, will call the security guard for re-verification.
The guard will ask you to follow him. You will again have two options: follow the man, or immediately start shooting. If you follow the guard, you will fail the test and risk a shootout. You can try to stun the security and hide the body, and then go down to the floor below and get into the office.
Ask the bartender not to disturb you
If you answer the bartender, “I want to drink, not chat,” then the tempered glass behind which the young athlete is training will crack. The bartender will say that he is closing the bar, and Johnny will invite you to move away from the bar and try to get into the office.
Go to the elevator and go down one more floor below. Turn left and walk forward a little. There will be two guards there, quietly run past them to the right through the door. Next, run straight to the end of the corridor and turn left.
You will need to run through the guard as quietly as possible and enter the black door. Get into it and run left, to the end of the corridor. There you will find another door – go into it and turn right. You will find yourself in Fiona's office.
You will find a boy inside, talk to him (you don’t have to do this).
Talk to Fiona
After a short conversation, the boy will continue to rummage through the documents on the table, and you can go to the computer and try to steal the data. At this moment, Fiona will enter the office. The woman will want to negotiate.
Follow her into the office and she will tell you a little about the athletes, and also offer to leak data about meaningless partners.
At this moment, you can either kill the woman or agree to her proposal. If you ask what are the chances that Tommy will be accepted into the club, you can get the boy to get a contract and thus you agree to leak some data.
If you choose the latter option, later in the story you will have a meeting with Tommy and his father. He will tell you that his son is now playing football in Europe.
Leave the sports school
After you receive the data and complete the task, you have to leave the building. If you agree, you can leave this place without any hindrance. If information was taken from Fiona by force, meet opponents at the exit – be prepared for battle.
