In Genshin Impact, “Ancient Autoharmonic Music Box” is a quest item that can be obtained during the story mission of version 4.6, – “ Odes to Harmony”. Inside there are 6 records that open when you find “symphonies” in different parts of the Sea of Antiquity.

How to find all the tunes from the Ancient Autoharmonic Music Box in Genshin Impact
First of all, get started to complete the “Ode to Harmony” storyline on Petrichor Island, located in the waters between Fontaine, Sumeru and Mount Laixin.
We will receive the box as we progress through the mission “Shadow over Petrichor”, and will immediately open the first composition “Fertile Lands”.
The player contains 6 melodies with lost scores: the first and last can be collected when completing the story, and the other four are scattered in different parts of ancient Remuria.
Let's figure out how to collect them all.
Entry 1: “Fertile Lands”

We get it when we first meet the talking cat Ossie, in the ruins in front of the natural well leading to the dungeon of the Dilapidated Castle. Get to Petrichor Island in the Infusion area and follow the story quest “Ode to Harmony”.
Entry 2: “Forge of Travel”
The second score is located in front of the scene with the portal to Remuria, in the east of the Dilapidated Castle. Before receiving it, you will have to go through a rather lengthy puzzle with catching note bubbles.
The challenge consists of catching bubbles that jump through a mosaic on the wall during a performance. You need to go through 4 stages and collect the required number of water balls by the end of each of them (otherwise the test will be interrupted). To make it easier, here are some tips:
- Use a short press of the power of the symphony (changing E to “T” → activating the skill to “E”) to stop quickly escaping bubbles (cooldown 0, 10 sec);
- Take tall characters to make it easier to jump to the targets;
- During the lightning stage, avoid the red areas where the bolt is aimed;
- Groups of spinning water balls arriving from above are best stopped closer to semi.
In the last stage, they will give a large sound field, due to which the bubbles themselves burst as they approach you – here you can simply stand in their path.
When the piece is played and the makeshift ship “Fortune” completes its voyage, as many as three chests will appear: two precious and one luxurious. In addition, for completing the challenge you can unlock the “Wall Odyssey” achievement.
Retrieve the recording from storage and play it through the box to see the beginning of the journey of uninvited guests who arrived to the lands of a distant kingdom.
< h3>Entry 3: “Great Sovereign”
The path to the second film is located north of the Janus Gate, in the Sea of Antiquity. Swim through the cave until you reach land, or immediately move to the teleporter inside the area if you previously had it open (first screenshot below).
The passage will lead to Port Anticus: from the exit from the water, go up and immediately turn left. At the end of the path leading east, there will be a Praetorian guarding the score. Deal with the enemy and extract the recording.

After the next tape, teleport to the mark south of the Janus Gate, and then swim along the route to another entrance to the underground (the path is on the map screenshot higher). We are interested in the Caesarium area, inside which there is also a fast travel point (if open, use it immediately).
In the depths of the underground space there is a Nameless stone statue, pointing with a blade in the direction of a large passage blocked by a hydraulic barrier. Talk to the statue and agree to take part in the combat challenge.
Make sure your squad is ready for a long fight with a bunch of vishaps, which will end in a duel with a double boss.
Your task for the first half of the battle is to deal with mobs and accumulate charge for strengthening (you need to defeat two waves of monsters). Then there will be a phase in which the number of monsters will increase greatly, but a shock wave will emanate from the hero, helping to finish off enemies.
Well, in the end you will have to defeat two bosses similar to the elite enemy from Encanomia – the Flock of Vishaps of the Deep.
After winning, the passage ahead will open, but before entering, do not forget to approach the statue of the knight again. For your first interaction with the stone swordsman, you will unlock the achievement “Tell the residents of the capital…”
Upon completion, run through the opened doorway and collect your rewards: luxurious, precious and amazing chests (inside the decor “Mallow Wood Fence: Tides”), as well as a recording of the 4th symphony.
The content of the fourth entry turns out to be the hymn of an illustrious civilization that has risen to the surface to conquer the unwanted “barbarians.”
Entry 5: “Verdict”
The penultimate film is located under the golden palace. The most accessible passage to the dungeon is through a cave east of the Court of Harmony.
If you have already opened a teleport in the underground, over which Capitol Hill lies, move to it.
Below the travel point there is a small arena where the local legend, Kineas, wanders. The vishap monster has a large HP reserve, strong attacks and high resistance to damage (especially under a hydro shield). Don't hesitate to break through its durability bar and try not to get close to the monster while it's powering up – stepping into the blue field will cause you to lose health very quickly. For defeating him, they give you a precious casket and the “Kineas” achievement.
Retrieve the penultimate tape from the vault on the hill behind the arena and listen to the track: now a people whose ambitions have reached the skies face a terrible fate.
Tape 6: “A Time of Tears”
The last entry is given towards the end of the mission “Lasers of a Sorrowful Fate”. Once you've unlocked all the tunes, you'll be able to loot 120 primogems and some elevation materials.
Achievements for unlocking Autoharmonic Music Box tunes
While searching for symphonies, you can get three achievements:
- Kineas – for defeating a local legend in a cave under the Capitol Hill;
- Wall Odyssey – for passing the test of collecting note bubbles in the east of the Dilapidated Castle;
- “Tell the residents of the capital…” – after passing the combat test against the vishaps in Caesarium.
Plus, after receiving all six films, you will unlock the “Echoes of the Great Symphony” achievement (10 primogems) from the “Rhapsody of the Ancient World” collection.
