The Hidden Wave Trial in Genshin Impact is one of the puzzles in the True Sound of Awakening world quest, where three side trials must be completed as part of the “Find Other Kori Drums” quest. They are associated with certain elements and represent small battle missions or puzzles using the Sorush Betting Tool.
This guide details how to complete the test of hidden waves, drain the water in the cave and get the Hydro Kori Drum (Koribant: Sanjna).
How to get to the kori drum cave in Asipattravan swamp
To get to the kori drum cave, move to the teleport in the east of the Asipattravan swamp. Then turn right and float down to the tunnel to the left of the waterfall.
Near the entrance you will also meet a fairy. She will escort you to the location with the puzzle and at the end of the route will give you a regular chest as a reward.

Remove water in the cave you can, if you pass 3 stages of the test with collecting Dendro particles. In this case, the four-leaf symbols will be out of place, which will not allow you to complete the task without the help of a special betting tool.
Use the Sorush skill and grab the nearest quatrefoils, placing them in such a way that the character can be attracted to them and collect all the green orbs along the way.
Hidden Wave Challenge: 1 Bell
Goal: Collect 4 Dendro Particles in 120 seconds.
Do the following to complete part 1 of the puzzle:
- Interact with the bell and start the challenge.
- Switch to Sorush using the tool in the shortcut menu (Z button). Fly up to the four-leaf glyph slightly to the left and pick it up using the flower icon skill (“E” on PC).
- Fly up to Dendro Particles and stand at the very end of the row one level above the last one. Place the quatrefoil in this area (the red outer button is a T).
- Recall Sorush by reactivating the tool (Z button).
- When control returns to the character, restart the challenge if the particles are gone. Then pan your camera towards the symbol and pan to it, picking up all the particles along the way.

Test of Hidden Waves: Bell 2
Goal: Gather 4 Dendro Particles in 120 seconds.
Fly to the right to another bell. Do the following to complete part 2 of the puzzle:
- Interact with the bell and start the challenge.
- Switch to Sorush and take the quatrefoil located a little higher.
- Head towards the particles on the left and stand in the empty area between them – on top of the «triangle». Place a symbol in this place as shown in the screenshot.
- < li> Return control to the character (“Z”) and teleport to the first group of particles. After that, fly right and down to get the remaining orbs.
After collecting the second half of the Dendro particles, you will be near the bell, which is the last part of the task.
Hidden Wave Challenge: Bell 3
Goal: Gather 7 Dendro Particles in 120 seconds.
To complete Challenge Stage 3, complete the following:
- Interact with the bell to activate the puzzle.
- Switch to Sorush with the tool button (“Z”) and take the four-leaf symbol that is above on the left side.
- Place the clover between the two groups of particles – one level above both rows, as in the previous case.
- Return to the hero by using the gadget again and hover towards the quatrefoil. After that, turn left and hook onto another symbol to collect the other half of Dendro Particles.
At this point, the test of hidden waves is considered completed. A small cut-scene is shown where the water level drops – this means that access to one of the disappeared measles drums is open.
