Udumbara in Genshin Impact is a mystical flower that grows near Asipattravan's Swamp and only blooms when companion Sorush interacts with runestones. There are two ways to understand whether the Udumbara bud is collected at a particular point:
- There will be no circular glow around the runic symbol, but the “heart” itself will continue to burn;
- If you are unsure about the last point, call Sorush, fly up behind your partner to the runestone and hold down her special skill nearby. After the collection has occurred, the bet will remain nearby in the skill activation pose, but the Udumbara flower will no longer appear.
Where to find all udumbara buds in Genshin Impact
Udumbara flowers grow in the Asipattravana Swamp area, surrounded by stone walls, on which you can find runic symbols at a high distance from the ground. The distance between the Udumbara is not very large, so you can collect them in any order, but for speed you can use the given route.

Start at the Barsom Hills teleporter and head towards the Asipattravan Swamp. From the cliff, glide slowly and turn around to the north to notice the first stone with a “heart” in the middle of the wall.
Stand under the rune to climb up and pick up the flower. You can use the special four-leaf symbol on a nearby cactus, move it with a bet, and then take off. Activate Sorush and awaken the power of the runestones to make the udumbara bloom.

From the first udumbara, go northeast and fly to the next hill across the chasm, using the four-leaf symbol in the air.
