The Genshin Impact Boro Village puzzle is one of many Electro Cube puzzles in Watatsumi. It is an arena with 8 rotating mechanisms, and consists of three sequentially solved stages. This guide will show you how to solve the puzzle with cubes in Boro Village on Watatsumi.
Where is the puzzle with cubes in Boro Village
The puzzle is located in the Boro Village area of Watatsumi Island, in the ruins visible on the map. To get to the location, travel to the teleporter west of the village and head north.
How to solve the cube puzzle in Boro Village in Genshin Impact
The essence of the puzzle is to turn eight mechanical cubes in the right directions. At the steps leading up to the ruins, you will find an explorer's notes that you can read – they contain a clue to the solution.
Each cube has a numerical value depending on which direction it is facing:

It is necessary that when adding all the numbers vertically, horizontally and diagonally, the same total value comes out. You can rotate the cubes in any order. The puzzle is solved in three stages – below we will tell you how to solve each of them.
Solving the first puzzle
To solve the first part of the puzzle, hit the cubes as many times as shown in the screenshot:
- < li>in the upper left corner – 1 time;
- center – three times;
- middle in the bottom row – 3 times, and right from it – twice.
Collect the reward and briefly move to another location. Then go back and Paimon will notice that the mechanisms have been updated.
If this did not happen, and the second stage of the puzzle did not start, teleport again and rewind time a couple of hours ahead.
Second puzzle solution
This time you need to rotate the mechanisms as follows:
- upper left – three hits;
- the center one is two and the one on the right is one;
- the middle one in the bottom row is two.
Pick up the prize and teleport away again to trigger the final part of the puzzle.
Solving the third puzzle
In the last step, you have to rotate the cubes in all four corners of the arena:
- left and right from the top line – twice each;
- left at the bottom – three times, and the right one once.
When all the gears are in the correct position, a Precious Chest will appear and the puzzle will be completed.
Rewards
The reward for the first two pieces of the puzzle will be two Rich Chests, and the last one will be a Precious Chest. Open all three and collect the following prizes:
- 20 source stones;
- 7 Electro seals;
- artifacts;
- weapon ;
- mora;
- boost ore.
