Kori Drums in Genshin Impact is one of the mysteries in Gavireh Lajavard and the Farakhert realm, to solve which you need to play a melody on special musical instruments, following special scores. Several of them are available by quest, while the rest can be found in the open world. Solving these puzzles will unlock chests or further challenges.
This guide will show you where to find all the kori drum puzzles and how to solve them.
How to solve kori puzzles drums
To solve the kori drum puzzle, you need to play the melody according to the notes given on the clues. All scores are always located near the puzzle itself, most often on the walls opposite the instrument.
To play, you need to hit the drum correctly when it is highlighted in yellow. If a pause is indicated in the tooltip, then nothing needs to be done during this glow until the next one appears. Notes are identified by the symbols in the rock art and how filled they are with color:
- Blank character – pause.
- Half filled – normal attack.
- Fully shaded – attack while falling.
Attack the drum by following the steps indicated in the notes to play the melody correctly.

Locations of all kori drum puzzles
In total, 10 kori drums can be found in the world, which belong to three separate riddles. One of the puzzles with 5 tools is only available during the quest, while others are hidden in the open world. Let's take a closer look at each of the puzzles.
5 kori drums in Barsom hills
This puzzle is available during the quest “The True Sound of Awakening”. After finding all five drums and placing them in empty stumps, go to each of them and study the score to be played. Hit each of the instruments in the correct order.

3 kori drums in Asipattravan swamp
The riddle is located in the east of the Asipattravan swamp and contains two mini-games at once: tools and a test with mushroom jumpers. In total, this location has 3 reels, which are located nearby on the ledges, and for solving the puzzle they will fully give not only a generous reward, but also an achievement.

2 kori drums in Barsom Hills
Tools are in a cave, not far from a large rose tree . One of them is available immediately, and to open the second, you need to defeat opponents and release the energy of Hvarna to unlock the gates of crystals. Enter the opened room and move the core of the spirit to the wall to highlight the clue with the score. For both puzzles they give a precious chest.
