A set guide that increases Hydro damage and attack. Where to find a set of artifacts, who it suits and how to use it.
Dream of the Nymph in Genshin Impact – a set of 4-5⭐ artifacts from the Sumeru desert, suitable for characters with the element of Hydro . The full set bonus increases the damage of this element and the attack power, but has certain conditions for triggering, which not all heroes of this element will be able to implement.
In the guide, we will tell you in detail about who the Dream of the Nymph is suitable for, how to get it and use it correctly.
Where to find the Desert Nymph's Dream in Genshin Impact
The set of artifacts Dream of the Nymph can be knocked out of the dungeon in the new location of the Sumeru Desert, in the Sea of Flowers zone. The dungeon also contains the Vurukashi Radiance set.
The quality of the artifacts in the set is divided into 4⭐ and 5⭐ rarity.
- 4⭐ materials drop at any level of the dungeon.
- 5⭐ set pieces have a chance to drop at Molten Iron Fortress III, and are guaranteed to drop on Molten Iron Fortress IV.
Available dungeon levels depend on adventure rank.
How the Nymph's Dream works
Half set increases Hydro damage by 15%. A full set increases the damage of this element by up to 30% and attack power by up to 25%, depending on the number of levels of Nymph's Reflection. Stacks are created on hit by each type of skill and attack, but last for 8 seconds. The effect only works on the wearer and cannot be called «from the pocket», so the kit must wear the main damageer. Using one attack type out of five to get all stacks will not work.
2 pieces: Increases Hydro damage by 15%
< p>4 parts: Increases Hydro damage by an additional 4/9/15% and attack power by 7/16/15% of 1/2/3 or more stacks of Nymph's Reflection. Level 1 is generated for 8 seconds when hitting an enemy with an elemental skill, elemental explosion, falling attack, normal attack, and charged attack. The countdown for each stack is individual.
The main stats of artifacts drop out randomly, with the exception of a flower and a feather. Below we present all the possible options for characteristics for each part:
Flower of Life
< /p>Wandering Flower
Evil Mage's Feather
Sands of Time
Heroes' Tea Party
Crown of Insight
Fierce Dragon Monocle

Since 2 artifacts from the Nymph's Dream set give a bonus to the Hydro element, they must be placed on characters of the corresponding element. The wearer of the full set must be an active character and constantly present on the battlefield, due to the need to level up Nymph's Reflection. To get the maximum number of stacks, you need to quickly perform three types of attacks out of five and have time to maintain them before the expiration time of the first level. Thus, the total rotation time is 8 seconds.
The ideal hero for the Dreams of the nymph. He uses charged attacks so he won't have any issues with stacks. Due to the similarity of bonuses, the combination with the North Star will reveal the hero to the maximum and allow you to play without an attack buffer in the team.
The second character to use a set well. However, in order to get all the stacks, you will either have to spend time on a charged attack before using the E-shki, or gain a large amount of energy recovery in order to ult on the cooldown.
Can be played as a main-dd, able to stack easily. On C6, the set has priority over the Heart of the Deep. If used as a support, this kit is not needed.
If you use it as a driver, playing from the ult and constantly present on the field, then the set is one of the best on it . Do not forget about HP in the additional stats of artifacts, since the set itself will solve the problem with attack power.
Able to open a set as the main damage in the game from attacks. More effective with C2 and C6 boosting charged attacks. If you only want Mona's ult, then Emblem of Severed Fate is more beneficial.
Suitable only if you collect in main-dd with crits under the infusion of Kandakia. In the case of a sub-DD build, where the main damage comes from the explosion of elements, it is better to take only 2 pieces, combining with other sets. Also remember to use a charged attack before the elements explode.
The situation is similar to Xing Qiu, but Ye Lan does not need attack power in principle, since her skill scales come from HP. Therefore, the heroine will not receive anything from the set, except for the Hydro damage bonus, and even then not on all stacks. It makes sense to put only 2 parts of the set.
He is a healer, but in some teams he is the main damage dealer, for which this set can be taken. Does not need this kit in a support build.
It will work only if you collect in the main-DD with crits under the infusion of Kandakia. In the case of a sub-DD build, where the main damage comes from the explosion of elements, it is better to take only 2 pieces, combining with other sets. Also remember to use a charged attack before the elements explode.
The above supports are used as a damage dealer usually in Steam units (less often with Electro). Also, the set can be taken by characters of other elements in a team with Kandakia through Hydro infusion.
It is impossible to say for sure whether the Dream of the Nymph is always stronger than the Heart of the Deep. But it is worth noting that the Dream of the Nymph will show the best result in the following cases:
- There is no attack buffer in the team.
- Hydro damage does not exceed 130% under all buffs, but without set stacks.
- The character is able to receive all stacks and realize them.
What artifacts to combine with the Dream of the Nymph set
The choice of the set with which to combine two parts from the Dream of the Nymph set depends on the characteristics and role of the hero. This can be increased attack power, energy recovery, elemental explosion damage, MC or HP.
- Gladiator's End (Shimenawa's Memories, Cinnabar Afterlife, Offering Echoes);
- Ancient Ceremony nobility;
- Emblem of Severed Fate;
- Millelite's Fortitude, Vurukashi's Radiance;
- Gilded Dreams (Paradise Lost Flower, Wandering Ensemble).
