In Dragon's Dogma 2 Every rose has thorns is Wilhelmina's personal quest, completing which will allow you to have an affair with her. As part of it, you will have to collect evidence of the crimes committed by Allard, and then kill him. However, this mission has several endings depending on your actions.

Completing the quest “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” in Dragon's Dogma 2
How to start the task
Problems for players begin already at this stage, since taking on this mission is not so easy. First of all, you will need to complete the tasks “The Stolen Throne” and “Disturbing Find”, and in the latter you must jump out of the window when escaping from the castle, otherwise you will not meet Wilhelmina, which will spoil your romance with her.
Note: Some players have noted that you should also complete Deception Extravaganza, but we were able to start Every Rose Has Its Thorn before completing this story quest.
Now head to the Rose Manor brothel located In the Nobles' Quarter (Wernworth), go up the spiral staircase to the second floor, go a little north and enter the courtesan's room through the double wooden doors. Here you will find the beauty you need in a red dress.
Walk up to her and speak to her, then give her the gift by clicking on the button shown in the bottom right corner of the screen. We advise you to give her a Bouquet of flowers, which you can get from the chest in the same room (we talked about other ways to get flowers in the quest “The hand of the giver will never fail”). After this, the dialogue with the girl should be updated – continue talking to her until she starts repeating phrases.
You need to raise your relationship with her to the maximum level. It’s quite easy to understand that you’ve done this – the corresponding function should disappear next to the gift-giving button. Once you are convinced of this, proceed to the second stage. You will need to wait 8-10 days: you can either just go about your business, or sleep the specified number of nights in an inn or your home.
Note: Some players have an overnight stay in Vernworth for an unknown reason did not count, so if the quest still doesn’t start for you, then try to leave the capital, for example, to the Border Town and wait there for 6-8 days. Then you can return.
After a long wait, return to the brothel and again go to the courtesan's chambers, but near the entrance you will find a boy named Rolf (if he is not here, then you have not completed any of the above steps), who will speak to you as soon as you will get closer to him. You will learn from him that Wilhelmina is now with her patron, so you will not be able to meet her.
Don't leave the brothel – instead, enter the girl's room, walk past the bed, turn to the right and interact with the picture on the wall, where there is a hole through which you can spy on what is happening in the next room. Eavesdrop on the conversation between the courtesan and Allard. When the minister leaves, chat with Wilhelmina and offer her your help in collecting evidence.
Important: Wilhelmina will give you exactly three days to collect evidence – if you do not have time to do this within the specified period of time, you will fail the quest. In this case, only loading a save from the hotel or using a backup file will help you.
How to find and to whom to give the Bribery Certificates
So, wait until nightfall and head to the Stardrop Inn to chat with Brant there. Select the phrase “Tell about Myrmekoleon.” He will condemn the plans to kill the minister, but will still tell you where to find possible evidence against him. Merchants may have them.
A yellow area will appear on your map indicating where the evidence you need is located. Enter the house shown in the screenshots below and pick up the Bribery Certificates from the table.
Now return to Brant, again select the answer with Myrmecoleon and give him the found document. He will then offer his support to you. At this point, click on the “Ask for Help” option. In this case, he will help you escape from the guards in the future.
Important: If you have already obtained the Murder Report, then under no circumstances give it to Brant first, as this may lead to a bad ending with the arrest of the courtesan. However, you can give this document as the second document – this will not affect the ending in any way.
How to find and to whom to give the Murder Report
Still at night, go to Wernworth Castle – through the main There is no way to get inside the door, so go through the door of the guardhouse shown in the pictures below. Next, open the door ahead, turn right, run through the reception hall and go up the stairs to the second floor.
Now you will need to go to Sven's chambers, located in the northwestern corner of the location. Once up, simply run forward to the very end of the corridor and turn right. You will see a young man in front of you – chat with him. He will say that he does not know anything about Allard's affairs, but Patrick can help you with this.
You can visit this lord only at night (if it’s already night for you, then you don’t need to do anything). His estate is located in the western part of the nobles' quarter. Go inside and on the first floor near the stairs you will find Patrick. Chat with him – he will tell you that Allard is probably hiding something behind the painting.
Patrick will also want to help you and decide to call the minister to his home so that you can calmly inspect his estate. Agree, and then run to Allard's house (shown in the pictures below). By the way, along the way you can meet an official and even tell him about the conspiracy. In this case, the quest will end immediately, and as a reward you will receive only 1200 experience points and 3000 gold. Of course, it will not be possible to continue the romance with Wilhelmina.
Upon entering the minister's house, go straight up to the second floor and take the first door on the left side. Inside the room, interact with the painting hanging to the left of the window. It will suddenly drop a Murder Report. Take it and leave the house.
Now return to the courtesan and give her the Murder Report. She will then inform you again about her plans to finish off the minister. Be sure to select the answer: “Offer help again” to continue the quest. If you refuse to help her, then even with the correct collection of evidence, Wilhelmina will be arrested, and you will receive the following reward: 1200 experience points, 7500 gold, 3 tiger eyes and 1 all-healing elixir.
Important: If you have previously received Certificates of Bribery and not If you gave them to Brant, then under no circumstances give them to Wilhelmina, otherwise you will open the bad ending, where the girl is arrested. The reward in this case will be the same as described just above.
How to assist in a murder
Everything here is quite easy – start following the courtesan, who will put on the mask of a beastman, and enter the room on the left. Here you will find Allard, whom you will need to grab (RT button) before he runs away. Next, watch the cut-scene from which you will find out why the girl wanted to kill the minister in the first place.
Then she will throw the Murder Report you found earlier on Allard's corpse. After the cutscene ends, a guard will suddenly appear and you will need to escape from it. Go out onto the balcony and jump down onto the hay cart below. If you previously enlisted Brant's support, he will meet you here and take you to a safe place, and will also try to hush up this matter.
If you refused Brant's help, you will have to run away from the guards on your own. Don't try to fight the guards – just run to a hotel or your house and spend the night there. The next day the search will end.
Talk to Wilhelmina
If you have your own house, then near the entrance you will find a letter from a courtesan who confesses her feelings to you. Now return to Wilhelmina's quarters in the brothel and she will automatically speak to you. You will learn from her that the nobles decided to hush up the matter with Allard, finding out about his crimes (Murder Report), so no one will touch the girl.
< p>Next, watch a short video with a sex scene. After its completion, you will automatically find yourself on the street, and the quest will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 1200 experience points, 8500 gold coins and a Ring of Grace, which slowly restores health after receiving significant damage.
